She has been met by packed audiences in heavily Democratic South Florida, where people call her refreshing, earnest, cool. But she is likely to be a tough if not impossible sell in the staunchly Republican Panhandle, if diners at the Coffee Cup Restaurant in Pensacola are any indication.

"I just couldn't vote for Reno," said Suzanne Peele, 56, who works part time for a trauma intervention program. "She seems like a principled person with good values, but I don't believe she has the leadership qualities that are needed.
