Promoting Virtue instead of Vice. Se7en is Americas Dr Laura inspired answer to the “vice dominated” world of rap music. He recently made a guest appearance and performed on the Dr Laura TV show.
The gesticulation, delivery, and rhythm are on par with today’s rap mega-stars but, upon closer inspection you’ll find a message that is vastly different from the rap that dominates America’s airwaves. Distinctly Christian, the only “f-word” in his music is faith. He focuses on things like the “ill-logic” behind pre-marital sex and the nature of evil and how we give it license in our world. Sound lofty? Well, its broken down “street style” and designed to catch the mind and ears of young and old alike. “I love to take concepts and issues, break them down logically into bite size chunks and relate them to people.” He has performed across the country and overseas from Turkey, to Chicago, California, Mississippi, and yes, even Alaska! He aims to put his money where his mouth is so he is donating 50% of the proceeds from this CD to the Crisis Pregnancy Center. A non-profit, pro-life organization that helps women and their families in “Crisis Pregnancy” situations by meeting their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs at no cost whatsoever. “They perform a great service to every community they serve. God has loaned me this gift of music and I want to use it for good.” This first release is an independent project called “Se7en…the holy poet” When he’s not on stage he’s Hikmat Ray Hanna II. The proud father of his 11-month old daughter, Shaddai. Once they started taking on foster children 5 years ago his wife decided that she would be a full time mom "My wife is a fantastic lady."
Se7en is an active duty member of the US Air Force and is currently stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska in the most highly decorated and longest active squadron in the entire US Air Force, the 90th Fighter Squadron.
