Am watching Vicente Fox on the PBS Evening NewsHour. You might want to tune in. Looks like a 20-25 minute interview with some decent questions being asked. Vicente is really slinging the bullsh*t hot and heavy. Fun to watch.
Salesman for Coca-Cola Mexico. What an obvious con artist. Obvious to you and me perhaps, but how about the American people?
He is on PBS evening news tonight. Very good interview of about 25 minutes. Am watching right now!

It's good. Vicente gets enough face time to lay it all out!

There is one benefit to all this. This country will be forced to deal honestly with the current labor issues with Mexican immigrants. The current system is just a recipie for crime and corruption. Either we say no illegal labor (and hit employers HARD who hire illegals), or agree that we need this labor and make it legal. But the current situation is insane.

You're right, the guy is a con artist. As I've stated before, he doesn't look much like the Mexicans you see doing manual labor in the U.S. Nor does his wife. Both of them come from the "elite" in Mexican society; Fox grew up wealthy, attended private schools, graduated from a prestigious U.S. university and holds socialist views (but not quite as socialist as the FZLN down in Chiapas). Above all, Fox is a globalist and intends to sell his people (those with darker skin than his, that is) to the international labor market. He's about to sell the Mexican sovereignty which the PRI held on to for almost 80 years as well.

Right. The PRI. The wonderful party that bloodsucked Mexico for 80 years, leaving it a mess when it should have living standards much nearer to ours. They protected Mexican sovereignity so they could keep their chokehold on the people and the economy.

Exactly. If it weren't for the PRI, we might not even have this mess.

I guess we should wait until the Mexicans elect someone who conforms to your stereotyping of the "proper Mexican look" and come from poverty, which of course means they won't be a con-artist ...

An impressive con artist....yes.
Ever see the movie "House of Games"? By David Mamet. All about con artists.

Hi Dennis:
Looks like this is a case of "the Fox in the hen-house"!(or should I say sheeple-house).
I stayed away from the threads ooing and awing on what was the menu during the state-dinner for this invading despot.
We, (the United States) of course, are the main course, for this ravenous alien!
To: waxhaw
I can add nothing to your post. The man is a good con artist.
As Rush Limbaugh said today and yesterday>
Mexico is just trying to get rid of its deadweight (the very word Rush used) and send them to the United States. You and I know that this "deadweight" are the brown skinned people Mexico is too screwed up to employ. The Spanish ruling elite of Mexico live the good life and have no need to run to the United States.
