Evidently, the "more deliberative" Senate made a rule to expel Robert Packwood. But what did he do that this Condit character didn't?
Sitting on the House Intelligence Committee, Condit carried-on numerous aldulterous affairs with women (and men?) who could as readily have been foreign agents, openning the potential for blackmail the moment he'd compromised himself. He had no right to place his seat, his constituents and his country at such risk.
That Congress will not muster the spine the expel this micreant is abysmally disgusting.
...And par for the course.
The way THIS is going I SERIOUSLY look for at LEAST Gephardt at the end of this congress to suddenly find a "reason" not to run because if he DOES look for some VERY strange material on Gephardt's "private life" to end up on good ole Larry flynt desk!!! No one will discover who this MYSTERIOUS source is of course but it will, in effect, torpedo ANY chances of Tricky Dick to run as a VP candidate or Presidential one EVER again...
