>>>>The Lisbon plan, by the way, allotted 44% of Bosnia to the Serbs (in discontiguous lumps), yet in '92 they went and grabbed an extra 26% of the country.<<<<<

Thanks, Hoplite, the private property is the pillar of Western Civilisation if you havent' heard. That's why communists were agaist private property.
Prior to 1991 Serbs OWNED 67% of land in Bosnia Herzegovina. Serbs were mostly peasants who owned land, forrests, Muslims were were townsfolk and owned litle lland and forrest.

Even Lisbon Agreement was infavorable to Serbs, they ACCEPTED IT. Muslims were ones who rejected it.

"Grabbing" of Serb own land occured AFTER Muslims rejected the plan.

You are so helpful in exposing common misconceptions and outright lies that I consider you valuable asset on FR. But Bosnian Muslims are not very happy about your performance, for sure. Just to keep you up to date, Bosnia will be forced to compensate Serbs for stolen land and envoys are already begging for money in Arab states to build compensation fund.

Perhaps if you are so concerned about private property you can explain how it is that the mostly rural Serb populations (they being farmers, mostly, and owning all the farmland so we've been told here on F.R.) felt it was necessary to boot non-Serbs out of the cities?

Wait, wait, don't tell me... those cities were built on old Serb farmlands so there was ample justification for the ethnic cleansing campaigns carried out in the cities in the Republika Srpska.

Whatever. Neither logic nor law are on your side in this matter, but thanks for trying.
