We are pleased to announce that, henceforward, in place of the word "man," when referring to the great mass of people, we shall use the more politically correct "huperoffspringity." We arrived at this by:

• replacing "man" with "humanity"
• replacing "humanity" (still sexist) with "hupersonity"
• replacing "hupersonity" (sons? what about daughters?) with "huperoffspringity"

We have thus arrived at a guaranteed non-sexist term by which to refer to our kind. Use it in good health.
