Of course it is silly to you if you want to pull all references to God out and throw them away. However, to us who believe that God had a very strong part of developing this country and protecting it, allowing you people to come in and tear out any reference to God is what this petition is about. We want to protect what we have. Silly in your mind, not ours.

In addition, the many prayers asking God to help this country, to lead us, to protect us and to save it from those who would tear it down mean that God is an active part of this country. There is only one God no matter how many other religions there are - one God.

Yet, it is oh, so important for many of you to tear out God from any part of American life (of course you say - you can do anything you want in your home but not on government property.) How come, in the past we could do anything we wanted on government property. And you still tell us there is no agenda. You are moving God out of American life and this is the first step - next, the stores, on TV, on the internet. you really expect us to stand still for your actions?

"We are tired of religion always being torn out of our lives by those who feel offended, we have rights also."
If they feel so "offended" by Christian beliefs, then the schools should acknowledge the believers of nothing by having a blank tablet next to the tablets with the Ten Commandmnets on it. That way everyone's beliefs would be acknowledged and nobody would be offended.;)
The believers of nothing can look at their blank tablet and we Christians can look at our Commandments.

Such a logical solution. Thanks.
