There has been no mention by the Ashcroft DOJ that these documents are being withheld because it would compromise an ongoing investigation. These investigations are closed. The only investigation to be made is why they were closed--and Burton's doing that, not Ashcroft.

Who has the doocumments, I thought they all went with Clinton to a leaky warehouse in Arkansas. Perhaps the records were destroyed as were others in the Clinton Administration the last day.
