As the Macedonian parliament continues its debate on a peace deal, preparations are getting under way for the ethnic Albanian guerrillas to hand over more of their weapons.
However ethnic Albanians are concerned that they will become more vulnerable to attacks by Macedonian special forces and paramilitaries, if the guerrillas surrender their weapons. In the centre of Skopje, a large electronic display invites young Macedonians to join the Tigers - as the special forces of the Interior Ministry are known.
Ethnic Albanians have blamed the Tigers for a number of heavy-handed assaults on Albanian-inhabited settlements. One of these included the attack on the village of Tanusevci in February, which led to the conflict that has since pitted the ethnic Albanians' National Liberation Army (NLA) against the Macedonian security forces.
Handover Last week the NLA began surrendering its weapons - part of a peace deal signed by politicians last month - which is expected to put an end to the six-month-old conflict.
So far the NLA has handed over to Nato troops a little over one-third of the 3,300 weapons it has promised to surrender. That figure of 3,300 weapons is generally believed to be only a part of the NLA's arsenal.
One reason the NLA is expected to hide many of its other arms is because of its fear of reprisals from Macedonian special forces if it were to disarm completely. Rest of the Article
The spastic that wrote this piece of propaganda is now trying to paint the picture that the Macedonians are the cause of this invasion, when they went to DEFEND Tanusevci from the ALBO Terrorists.... It makes my blood boil when i read s--t like this.... and the worst thing is, that the sheep in the west believe it!!
Let me say a prayer: O Lord, may you strike down all of these propaganda spinning, racist, imperialist murderers, with your mighty sword, and show the world the true face of the NWO (Antichrists)... AMEN
Albanians would be fools to turn in their most modern weapons to the British imperialists even as Skopje rearms and begins to pay increased sign-on bonuses to Bulgarian and Russian mercenary fighters. The coming civil war in Macedonia will be horrific if Skopje refuses to honour their surrender to the KLA -- as it now appears will be the case. To continue turning in weapons for this phony peace plan would be foolhardy barring significant gestures of good will by the Skopje government.
Slavic death squads have terrorised Albanians for decades in Macedonia. Now the government seeks to legitimise these pogroms by arming and paying these lawless murderers and contract killers. Does Skopje really wish the war to continue? Have not enough Macedonian "soldiers" been killed in battle to satisfy the Slavic bloodlust?
In Northern Albania the KLA training camps continue to turn out insurgent infantry and mortarmen. At Vushtrii the "academy" provides the latest training in communication and NCO tactical doctrine for KLA/UCK/KPC veterans. The Kosovo Liberation Army will be prepared to go on the offensive in October if Skopje does not honour their unconditional surrender of August.
Macedonia is no more. The Tetovo Republic and British Macedonia will exist in a constitutionally amended federalised state or there will be war. The Macedonian Parliament will bow down to Greater Albania and make it so -- or they will be liquidated.
It's that simple.
The forces of freedom on the move. Europe trembles.
Slav paramilitary forces worry West
BY MICHAEL EVANS
THE build-up of two paramilitary-style Slav Macedonian forces is causing increasing alarm among Western diplomats in Skopje. One is an aggressively promoted official police unit called the Tigers and the other is an unauthorised body of former police and military reservists known as the Lions.
A huge video monitor in the centre of Skopje, urging young Macedonians to join the Interior Ministrys feared Tigers, serves as a daily warning to the West that, once Nato troops have left after their arms-collection mission, these highly trained men, alongside the unofficial Lions, also sponsored from within the same ministry, pose a potential threat to the peace settlement. Its these groups were worried about, not dissident Albanian rebels, one Western diplomatic source said.
The Tigers are a legitimate force, coming under the control of Risto Galevski, the Macedonian police chief, but the man who holds the real power over their activities is Ljube Boskovski, the hardline nationalist Interior Minister and former head of the secret services, who has openly talked of clearing out remaining Albanian rebels from occupied villages after Nato leaves.
He has also espoused the cause of the Lions, referring to them as noble citizens. The potential for trouble after Nato has gone is evident. There are reports of rebels from the ethnic Albanian National Liberation Army handing over weapons, then being followed home and beaten up by assailants in ski masks.

If the Bulgarians and Russians fighting on the Slavic Macedonian side are "mercenary fighters" and "lawless murderers and contract killers", what of the ones that you call the "holy warriors from the East"--i.e., the "fighters" of the international muslim jihad--fighting on the UCK side?
You are a proven hypocrite, among other things!!!!
And just when you thought that they couldn't sink any lower! Am I to believe that suspicious men hang around and wait for the poor Albanians to give up their weapons, and then follow them through KLA controled area wearing ski masks (at 25-30°C) just to beat them up? And don't forget that even Albanians admit that they still have two-thirds of their weapons. Wonder who gave them [reporters] such info.
