Recently in North Carolina, the courts have ruled that CPS employees are NOT agents of the state and not bound by the 4th amendment to the constitution and that they DO NOT need a warrant to enter a persons home to question or seize a child!

Government agents need search warrants. Anybody else you can deny them entry onto your property. If CPS is not a government agency then they have no right to be in your home. I must have missed something, or are the North Carolina courts that stupid. Who was the judge?

It was the appeals court, and only one judge dissented. His dissent provided for an automatic appeal to the State Supreme Court and that is to be heard in October.
