I would never support the idea of identifying contributors ever and it's not because I haven't made a contribution yet myself. We are not talking about identifying contributors by their real names, just the anonomous screen names. If we listed people's real names, we'd all be audited by the IRS and have our homes bugged by all kinds of other agencies.
I wouldn't want it under screen names either for lots of reasons. You can usually find other ways to identify disruptors and . . . but a big thank you to those who have carried me thus far . . .and I mean that sincerely.
