"“Feelings” is another word for “emotions,” and if science becomes driven by emotions, it will no longer be science."

While I want to Smash the State as much as anyone else, I have to take issue with this.

Couldn't it be said that Some humans feel that it's a ethics and morals issue, whether or not stem-cells should be used, while at same time, some humans feel that we shouldn't excessivly harm animals when alternatives are availble.

Same emotions as far as I can tell.

The conservatives that think using their religions to guide them isn't the same as using feelings are missing the boat big time. Hypocrisy is another way to put it.

"The conservatives that think using their religions to guide them isn't the same as using feelings are missing the boat big time..." Everybody makes decisions based on what they believe. Everybody. We are what we believe, and act accordingly. How are Christians any worse than anyone else?

"Religion" as you define it is not the same thing as being a follower of Christ, Jesus Christ was very ANTI-religion.. anyone who tries to compare MANMADE religions to the simple teachings of scripture are the ones who are "missing the boat"...

... not to mention risking an eternity in Hell for rejecting Christ

Just thought I would clarify that

David

P.S. Jesus Christ did not come to call the righteous <-- Religious People -> BUT <-- sinners to repentance

I don't believe the information in the post has anything but facts in it. If I am wrong please point it out to me.

I guess however, that one could say the redistribution of wealth has something to do with feelings -Those who adhere to socialism like it - those who don't, don't like it very much and don't "feel" good about it.

And if this is a misinterpreted you comment, I apologize.

If you want some examples of "feelings" read the textbook review links and see how the UN, NGOs, unelected bureaucrats and educrates seek to brainwash our kids though "feelings".

Would you agree at least that our Constitution and free enterprise system should not be attacked in our children's textbooks with OUR taxdollars?

" Hypocrisy is another way to put it."

No, Ignorance is the way to put it, Yours!

Truth trumps ignorance every time, that's why you're scared and angry. Truth can only be spiritually discerned.

You'll notice that so-called conservatives abandon states' rights immediately if a federal law mandating that marriage must be between man and woman looms. Since they only adhere to states' rights when the state is more conservative than the fed, you are right, they are emotional and hypocritical.

REF your post #17....

I stand behind my Post #27

Your attempt to convince me that one who makes decisions in life based on "personal beliefs" is synonymous with those who make decisions in life based on "Christian Beliefs" or Biblical Principles...

The personal beliefs are subject to being "wrong" whereas Biblical Principles are NEVER WRONG.. and apply whether or not your "personal beliefs" are consistent with "Biblical Principles"...

Is this not an accurate rebuttal to your post #17???
