At first glance, the 2026 election looks like any other midterm. The incumbent party is exhausted. The opposition is eager to rebuke an unpopular president. Economic concerns predominate. An electoral thumping seems inevitable. Check results from 2022, 2018, 2014, 2010 and 2006 for reference.
Under the surface, however, an ugly force is stirring in U.S. politics that makes this midterm campaign different. For the first time in generations, antisemitism has emerged from the shadows to influence American public life.
From Graham Platner to Abdul El-Sayed, from Hasan Piker to Tucker Carlson, antagonism toward Israel, “Zionists” and foreign intervention has morphed into fear and loathing of a minority that has lived peaceably and productively in this country for more than 300 years.
The results on Nov. 3 will be more than a gut check on Donald Trump’s presidency. They will measure our collective immunity to an ageless hatred that destroys everything it touches.
There is no single definition of antisemitism. Scholar Ruth Wisse defines it as the organization of politics against the Jewish people. Disagreeing with Israeli politicians or policy isn’t antisemitic, but there is a line beyond which opposition turns into obsessive, uncontrollable enmity. Former Soviet dissident and Israeli politician Natan Sharansky says criticism of Israel becomes antisemitic when it demonizes, delegitimizes or applies double standards to the Jewish state.

It doesn’t matter. The democrats still have the Jewish voting block locked up.
No sympathy from me. They brought it on themselves. Just follow Soros’s and Cuban’s money. And the south Florida and New York voting.
This election isn’t about Jews.
It’s simple:
All Democrats are now DSA.
DSA is full on antisemite.
There seems to be a mistaken impression floating around, that President Donald J. Trump is somehow “unpopular”.
Pretty darned popular with me. And he did roll up the “popular vote” in the last Presidential election.
There is a binary choice on the ballot - Team Trump on one side, and antisemitism on the other.
It will be interesting to see if Jews, the second most reliable Democratic voting bloc after blacks, will continue to vote Democrat in this election. I’m guessing that they will continue to overwhelmingly (70-75%) vote Democratic in this election.
I wonder if Abdul will have the boxcars and camps ready for the Jews when (and if) he takes office?
My lawyer is Jewish. We were at mutual friend’s child’s wedding shower this Sunday.
He related how he moved to a new (to the town) neighborhood about 15 years ago. One of the fist houses. Nice neighborhood with big, couple acre, lots. Doctors, lawyers, bosses.
The last lot was recently bought by a Muslim doctor from Pakistan, it’s across the street and a couple of doors down. Built a super-ugly modern house. (I drove by.) They have a whole slew of people living there.
He said the Pakistanis have been causing trouble, complaining the the HOA about nonsense, and generally being dicks, ever since they spotted a menorah in the window during Hannukah. Making it clear they want my lawyer to move away.
I commented that that was a microcosm of how all Muslims behave. They move in and demand the Jews leave.
My lawyer (who is not a small man) has taken upon himself to do yard work in his old IDF shirts, waving and being overly friendly.

“This election isn’t about Jews.”
False. In many swing districts it is very much about blaming the Jews for: Trump, or the war, or high prices, or no job for my “liberal arts” kid, and most importantly for the divisiveness in our country.
Agree.
Agree.
And candidates like El Sayed is stirring it up:
“’I Wish I Would’ve Killed You!’ El Sayed Supporter Attacks Jewish Student.”
Nick Fuentes, Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson formerly on our side are most prominent. Many more less prominent.
There are man more on the DSA side.
Walk on a college campus wearing a star of David or skull cap and find out.
