If if can happen there, is can happen anywhere. The Pacific coast province of British Columbia elected a majority Conservative government to the provincial legislature, for the first time since 1928. This is as if California suddenly went Republican. The CBC reports,
5 reasons why Lorne Doerkson is the next premier of British Columbia:Eby’s snap election gamble backfired, while the B.C. Conservative leader projected normalcy.
“Normalcy.” David Eby, the head of the governing New Democratic Party (NDP), held only a 47-44 majority in the legislature, with two vacancies. He was having trouble getting his program approved, so he called an early election. Oops. Now the Conservatives have a 61-28 majority. Sound familiar?
Eby tried pivoting his campaign message from U.S. President Donald Trump to taxing the rich to the risks of Doerkson, but no pivot lasted particularly long.
It seems that all over the globe–except in America and certain Brazilian Supreme Court Justices–voters are opting for more Conservative governments.
We are told that American voters want pure communism and they want it now. All the polls say so.

Good news indeed. When I lived near Seattle, I took the ferry up to BC a few times. Beautiful place, intelligent people. Now they’re getting smarter.
Meanwhile Seattle is run by a stupid Commie female who must have rocks in her head.
So, the conservatives replaced a deeply unpleasant and polarizing political animal with a relatively normal and likeable dude and won massively. Who could have figured?
A dubious claim. The SoCreds ruled BC for 40 years, they were center-right. The current “Cons” just appropriated an old party name, but it’s filled with BC Liberals.
Canadian conservatives would be considered super RINOs if they were in the US. Still, it’s better than the alternatives.
