• Substance Abuse & Sober Living Fraud:
Lured vulnerable individuals from all over the country to California with promises of free flights, housing, cars, and drugs, while billing private and government insurance programs for fake or inadequate treatment (totaling over $1.6 billion tax dollars).
• Invasive Surgeries & Medicaid Fraud:
Involving unnecessary arterial procedures (atherectomies)
billed to Medicare and Medicaid (over $130 million tax dollars stolen).
• Hospice & Kickback Schemes:
Tax dollars stolen for bogus hospice care for patients
not terminally ill and kickback-driven genetic testing.
