Secretary Mullin and Commissioner Scott observed ongoing construction on secondary barriers and met with construction crews as the Trump Administration marked 17 months of ZERO releases of illegal aliens at the southern border. The latest data from CBP also revealed that Fiscal Year 2026 saw the lowest amount of border crossings of any fiscal year in American history.

...“Thanks to President Trump’s bold leadership, we have had ZERO illegal aliens released into our country for the past 17 straight months—that’s promises made, promises kept in action.”

In Fiscal Year 2026, CBP completed construction of 250 miles of new border barrier along the southwest border since January 20, 2025. This includes primary and secondary barriers, waterborne barriers, and supporting technology.

Tear down the Wall.

My mother's brother lived in Nogales, Arizona, and worked "on the line." He inspected the produce coming into the USA. It was a zoo then and I doubt if it's changed much. Young men will always get in because they can climb, burrow, steal in the night, whatever it takes to get into the country.
But they want their FAMILIES to enter as well. That does NOT work. Granny can't "go over the wall," so ditches are dug, people do whatever it takes to get into the USA.

What is really needed is making sure that all the maids and gardeners who work for next-to-nothing, ARE legal.

What is SO annoying is that those folks who knowingly hire the illegal KNOW they are aholes but they WANT to save a few dollars. CHEAP aholes.

Pressure HAS to be CONSTANTLY applied to the crooked Mexican government to help the USA keep out the illegals.
The illegals come from Central America and the Mexican government HELPS them through Mexico to the USA as long as they don't STAY in Mexico.

Tsk!

Photo op. I do believe the job is getting done. We knew that when Trump was reelected.
