Russia played us masterfully here.
Russia is reeling from Ukrainian attacks on its oil infrastructure. The first attacks Russia has really felt or that mattered.
So.. Russia simply signs an agreement to sell oil to the US, which will obviously then put pressure on Ukraine to stop attacking Russian oil infrastructure.
You speak as if US real interests were not served, and as if the US has no incentive to engage Russia other than Russian influence to do so.
It’s most probable this was a US idea.
Incurring long term debt not for productive investment but for consumption and to finance useless wars, ultimately weakens an economy and leads to cultural disintegration. The wars themselves accelerate the decline.

Someone in the ninth decade can still be the boss of a large complex organization - as long as his team is outstanding and is exclusively composed of men of good character.
Unfortunately, in this respect, the selection of Donald Trump for this high office has not been a success.
Well that’s good news for Diesel and Gas prices but there are plenty of other targets for this war to continue on.

I support this fully. Anything to defeat the commies on November 3. If Zelensky is really trying to tilt the election, he’s making a fatal mistake. DJT is still President for another 27 months. The democrats could take all the seats in both houses, and they couldn’t prevent the president from withdrawing all forms of logistical and material support from Ukraine
If true, I wonder what the ‘over/under’ is on how long it will take for the agreement to be violated by either side. My guess is 3 days……lol.
The Deep State could have told their Democratic stooges to say the oil prices were a small price to pay to keep Iran from nuclear weapons.
