The sheer hypocrisy of the of the Europeans never ends. They trash Trump for buying diesel from Russia even as the Europeans themselves buy record amounts of LNG from Russia.

You just can't male it up.

Grok:

EU still imports Russian energy, mainly LNG. In Jan-Sep 2026, a record 12.18 million tonnes of Yamal LNG arrived at EU ports for an estimated €7.88 billion (up 9.5% year-on-year), despite a short-term contract ban since April and a full ban due Jan 2027.

In Q2 2026, Russia supplied 17.3% of EU LNG and 10.2% of pipeline gas. Oil is near zero (1% share), limited to pipeline exemptions for Hungary and Slovakia.

From the UK to France, Germany, on to Spain and Italy are all raging dumpster fires as the Muslims have reached the per centage where they now wage open jihad.

Why should we give a rip what the Euros think about us and our president?

What concerns me is who is guarding the nukes in those countries?

Hells Bells, Trump had to pull the B1’s out because those tea swilling Limey gits can’t protect the bases we pay them to protect.

They not only buy LNG, but they also buy Russian oil second hand.....knowingly. They have all along.

Learned a new vocab word — “git”. Much like a Limey “tosser”, I think.

The answer is simple … the eu wants the USA to suffer. They fear, envy, and hate us.

Don’t forget the time-aligned closure of more than 1/3 of California diesel refinery capacity by Newsom in two moves in December 2025 and April 2026.

“Why do we need foreign oil?? I thought we were energy independent.”

If we were strictly isolationist, then yes, prices might be lower if home grown leftists hadn’t shut down a few refineries.

Oil is a world market and prices fluctuate based on world demand and world production.

The Zelenski’s and islamists of the world are doing their best to shut down oil production so we all pay for it.

Because oil is on the world market, Trump is right, Russian oil belongs to everyone. Zelensky should be tried in the Eurotard’s ICC for worldly crimes.

Our oil should not be on the world market. It is a US resource and the US should benefit first. To claim the oil is on the global market would be to claim our oil has been globalized and our economy therefore has been too.

Two reasons. America’s crude is mostly light. You can’t get much asphalt and other heavy products out of that, which we need. So we sell our light crude to countries that don’t refine much heavy product and buy heavy crude so we get everything *we* want and need. We used to call that the free market doing its job, but we don’t teach that anymore, apparently.

Why are gas and diesel so expensive? Because refinery capacity is maxed out in the US and that’s because of Democrat attacks on refineries in the US. You might ask, if the refineries are maxed out, why doesn’t industry build more and make more money? Easy - because idiots all over the US are threatening to vote Democrat and every company that runs refineries knows if they break ground today and Democrats take majorities in the House and Senate the construction site will be shut down next year - guaranteed.
Remember Keystone XL?

Until people educate themselves instead of having knee-jerk reactions to a price at the pump, the rest of us are stuck with their bad choices.

Don’t believe me. Go find out for yourself what crude America *wants* and go find out for yourself what refineries Newsom shut down and when, and how Zelenskyy’s bombing further impacted diesel price, and once you’ve looked fkr yourself you’ll never ask that question you just asked again.
