The MINERVA ZEN tanker carrying diesel left St. Petersburg on September 22. The shipment arrived in the United States less than a day after the announcement of the agreement.

The first Russian diesel shipment to the United States is already arriving on the East Coast, less than 24 hours after the deal was announced. This was reported by the OSINT channel TheIntelFrog, according to UNN.

DETAILS

It is also noted that the tanker MINERVA ZEN departed from St. Petersburg on September 22 and appears to have been headed for the U.S. East Coast the entire time.

ADDITIONALLY

According to data from the OSINT website VesselFinder, the MINERVA ZEN tanker was built in 2009 and sails under the Greek flag.

CONTEXT

U.S. President Donald Trump thanked Vladimir Putin for the agreements on supplying Russian diesel fuel to the United States. In response, influential U.S. Democratic senators sharply criticized President Donald Trump's decision to allow the sale of Russian diesel fuel on the global market for six months. However, representatives of U.S. President Donald Trump's administration threatened to stop sharing U.S. intelligence with Ukraine if Kyiv continued to ignore Washington's demands to halt strikes on Russian oil refineries.

REMINDER

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to Russia's attack on Zaporizhzhia, noting that this was how Russia thanked the United States for lifting sanctions on diesel exports.

I checked another (ship tracking) site to “kinda” confirm this tanker’s current voyage:

https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/details/9410909

It did come from Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Love it. So much is happening in the background. Every few days something good is occurring.

So this tanker was launched from Russia to the USA four days after Trump signed a bill sanctioning nations that purchase oil from Russia?

Good for Americans. Not so good for the TDS afflicted and Leftist trollers on this forum who would cheer if conservatives went up in flames.

Looks like this might have been in the works for a while.

If so, this is real shot across the bow of the speculators and price manipulators driving the price of oil into the stratosphere

If the Trump Team is successful in dropping the price of oil a lot of people are going to lose a lot of money

Couldn't happen to a nicer group of people.

That disgusting little Z had better stop destroying Russia’s storage tanks, some of it is ours now, we paid for it.

The one he attacked an hour after Trump released the Russian oil deal was a storage facility, not a refinery operation. Trump warned him six times, there is no doubt Trump will now take care of the little grifter, in ways we may never see.

I will add Trump stated “ He ( Zelensky) had better damn well stop”...and went on to say Ukraine “ needs to get another new President”.

It is probably fair to assume the corrupted, little grifter St Z’s shelf life has suddenly expired.

Go Trump!

It’s not the oil. We’ve got plenty of oil. It’s refining. The leftists have shut down a couple dozen refineries cause of “climate change” or something.

The fuel from Russia is refined diesel fuel.

It’s not very likely it will have that much of an impact on prices. The first amount represents about half a days worth of diesel. While there might be a decline in prices it won’t be much.

Diesel prices here went up 1.25 a gallon the day the Houthis hit the Saudi pipeline and have been holding steady until Trump announced the Russian deal, the success opening the Strait of Hormuz and the EU release of reserves

Prices dropped a dollar a gallon over two days after.
