Trump says Ukraine should get a new president as he blames Zelenskyy for US diesel prices.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump said Saturday it was time for Ukraine to get a new president, suggesting Volodymyr Zelenskyy has not done enough to end his country’s war with Russia and blaming him for high diesel prices in the U.S.

“I suggest they get a new leader who can make a deal because he could have made many deals and for some reason he never does,” Trump said.

The president, who on Friday struck a deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin to buy diesel from Russia in an attempt to address high fuel prices ahead of the U.S. midterm elections, has been urging Zelenskyy for weeks to stop strikes on Russian energy infrastructure….

“He wants to make problems for the world. He wants to make problems for our farmers, our ranchers, with diesel fuel,” Trump said, before departing for Tennessee where he was set to rally Republican voters.”

I do have to say it is ironic that the West tried everything under the heavens to destroy Russia’s energy Wealth…..blowing up the Nordstream pipeline, blowing up Russian refineries, ships, and NOW the West is buying energy from Russia!

We should say thank you to Vlad.

And yet US taxpayers continue footing the bill in Ukraine. Trump, pick a side and be consistent. Europe and China are our ideological enemies and economic competitors and we need to choose our allies and whom we support (ie., not our enemies) accordingly.

If I were a typical Ukrainian, I don’t think that I would want to surrender the country to the Russians so that the United States could have cheaper diesel prices.

This whole thing is ridiculous. It’s a replay of the stupidity and butchery of WW1, just on a smaller scale.

Wilson should have kept us strictly neutral in WW1. And Trump should keep us strictly neutral here. No help of any kind to either side.

The war in Ukraine is senseless and should come to an end.

The worst part about the war is that the official position of the Zelensky government is that once the Russians are expelled from Ukraine , the Donbas region will become disenfranchised , de facto occupied enemy territory.

They want the dirt back but they do not want the people who live on it to be free, fully enfranchised Ukrainian citizens.

It's insane.

Trump blaming anyone but himself and Netanyahu for the condition of the oil markets is rich.

The guy probably walks out of the bathroom blaming the chef for the smell of his own shit.

We’re not only footing the bill in Ukkraine, we’re paying rent for Ukraine “refugees.” Nice couple in my hood has a brand new SUV and nice clothes, could afford trip back to safe part of Ukraine to see their newe grandchild. Came back and discovered the local food bank where they get free groceries.

“Everything’s free in America”.

Similar wars have ended in a ceasefire—Korean War and Finnish wars against the Soviets.

Really? Many Ukrainians blame St Z for not seeking Peace earlier.

“Zelenskyy has “lost 30% of your country and you’ve had over a million people go between the two of them, over 2 million people killed. That’s a war that should have never started. And I think it’s time for Ukraine to get a new president,” Trump said.” - President Trump

St Z is going to have a Mussolini moment.

The deal is for enough diesel to last about two weeks.

I don’t get it.

This has happened just three days after his own negotiators - Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner - prepared to meet with the Ukrainian delegation.

And it hasn’t even been a month after signing the Lindsey Graham Act.

Someone help me out here - why has PDJT just undermined his own negotiators and effectively U-turned on his position last month?

Surely it cannot be as dumb as, he’s now so desperate to get:

- A Deal.
- Any Deal.
- Even a shit deal

That he’s willing to even throw his own son-in-law under a bus?

I’m sure you’ll say this is brilliant news, Delta. Brilliant for Putin, anyway.
(After all, you’ve been batting for the Gremlin in the Kremlin since day one.)

---- "You Russian paid trolls are working overtime."

Given this is from the first comment after the post which was presented without comment, and given that the article is AP, sourced and linked, how is posting the article and link a troll?

Do you disagree with the quotes in the article by President Trump? Is it trolling?

From the article: ' 'I suggest they get a new leader who can make a deal because he could have made many deals and for some reason he never does,' Trump said."

You know little about the situation. Much behind the scenes. Lukeoil for one, a proposed agreements with US companies entering joint ventures to harvest Russia’s vast minerals wealth, Vlad allowing the Ukies to reopen Ukie ports ( they have been shut down) so the Ukies can get their rotting grain out, joint ventures in Russia’s Donbass, and more.

This war has taught the world one thing, Russia’s vast resources are needed by the West. Reinstating Trade and Commerce with Russia is a wise move.

The impact of scarcity on supply and demand pricing is highly disproportionate - especially when commodity speculators are trying to run prices up.

The goals of the Russian deal is twofold - to add needed liquidity to the oil and diesel fuel markets to short circuit scarcity mentality in the markets.

There really is non shortage of oil (especially in the US ) - just futures marketeers speculating that there will be shortages in the future. There is also a very strong undercurrent of actors wishing to spike the price of oil before the mid term elections to knee cap Republicans and the Trump administration.

The EU has been holding strategic diesel and oil reserves to spike prices in hopes of undermining Trump

The current Trump policy moves force the EU to release their reserves or be cut off from US oil supply combined with the Russian oil hitting the market is going to tank futures prices and a lot of speculators and price manipulators driving the high prices are going to take serious losses.

These are real hard ball, smash mouth policy moves by the Trump Admin to mau mau the price of oil down to realistic levels.
