Stupid choices made decades ago to take their nations non-nuclear and choices made more recently to go Net Zero have made Europe more vulnerable to energy shortages.
France had made the choice back in the Sixties to build out nuclear plants because they were coal and gas poor.
This made them fairly energy independent. Germany was on their way to a similar independence when they elected a Green Socialist government that decided that Nuclear was dangerous.
Bad move on Germany’s part and France went Net zero. Another bad move.
The WEF is taking Europe down the road to poverty and revolution.

And Trump did not follow Israel. He led Israel. Everything he did in Iran was perfect. The other side is the one causing it to look worse than it is.

Could Ukraine have escalated or continued the war without US military assistance?
Would they have escalated the war without assurances from the US that aid would continue?
