A Texas teen accused of stabbing a mother of five to death in broad daylight was freed from jail after posting a $2 million bond.

Amaya 'Cookie' Diaz, 19, along with her sister, Kitty Mia Diaz, 21, and their friend, Kyandra Renee Faz, 21, were accused of murdering 32-year-old Caroline 'Caro' Peña on June 25.

All three were arrested shortly after the butchering, but Cookie, who allegedly wielded the knife, was released from the Val Verde County Correctional Facility in Del Rio on Tuesday.

Better question, what judge allowed a bond? No name given for the judge.

There should have been no bail for any of them.

“Amaya ‘Cookie’ Diaz, 19, along with her sister, Kitty Mia Diaz, 21, and their friend, Kyandra Renee Faz, 21, were accused of murdering 32-year-old Caroline ‘Caro’ Peña...”

So, mom had the older one at 11 years old or is this a stepsister? So had the younger at 13? Was the inseminator prosecuted for sexual assault of a child?

Or is “mom” the new wife of two girls not hers by birth?

Texas bonds are full amounts if you want it all back or if you use a bondsman they take 10% to secure the bond and you don’t get that back. Lawyer bonds are negotiated between the client and the lawyers firm usually 5% or so plus retainer is not returned.

So someone came up with either the whole 2 million or they are willing to walk from 200k my bet is cartel money.

That’s the first thing that came to my mind. How else would they come up w/that size bond?

Perhaps the drug boss who put her up to taking out the competition?
My guess is she either exits the US rapido or turns up dead. Dead would avoid losing the $2 million, so her future looks cloudy.

10% non-refundable cash, plus some sort of security bond for the other 90% ... all of which were presumably supplied by some Soros-funded outfit ...
