In a major upset for the ruling Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ) party, the Parti Québécois (PQ) is shaking up the political landscape in Quebec.

The party hasn’t been in power since 2014 and its leader, Paul St-Pierre Plamondon, has vowed to hold a third referendum on Quebec sovereignty in his first term.

I know little about Canada politics other than Carney is a coward and moron, but i know Trump loving conservative Canadians who are over the moon about this result. And they are so fed up with the state of Canada, they voted in favor of the separatist party despite not being French Canadian and voting against this in the past...

The PQ has promised a Separation Referendum so maybe an escape from the Ottawa Regime.

The PQ also want an immigration freeze, which is more than any of the other parties.

It is not a win for the Right

But it is a defeat for mass immigration/ GDP goes up corporatism

If PQ can keep Quebec for French descendants and not for pajeets I’m for it. Otherwise they are as useless as Carney.

Obviously , the quebecoqouis(?)....want to leave Canada also.
If Alberta, and a few of the western provinces skip town also....Canada (ottawa) will be eviscerated. The U.S. can negotiate treaties and policies with the separatist provinces instead of Ottawa wokesters. Some of the eastern maritimes provinces (generally conservative)could skip town also...Oh, Canada!
