Tennessee death row inmate Christa Pike — who is now in the hospital after a botched execution — was given the all-female lethal injection team she had requested, her attorneys revealed on Thursday.
“What I saw was consistent with that,” Randy Spivey said in response to a question about whether the execution staff was made up solely of women, according to a report by the New York Post.
Pike, who was supposed to become the first woman to be put to death in Tennessee since 1819, has instead become the first woman to survive lethal injection drugs during an execution attempt
In the hours after the failed execution, Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee (R) released a statement saying he has ordered “a comprehensive, third-party review to determine exactly what occurred.”
Stephen Ferrell, another of Pike’s lawyers, noted that the drugs may have been injected into the muscle of Pike’s arm instead of a vein.

Just use nitrogen gas, simple, quick and painless.
The Swiss made a machine called the Sarc which allows you to do it yourself.
TN failed - now they should have to let her go free.
Even I, for all of my “crazy byatches + social media = societal destruction” posts years ago could never imagine how bad it would be today. Women are going to be allowed to get away with whatever they want.
Like she let her victim go free?
Even with this she has yet to suffer anything near what her victim went through.
After what happened its time to let her die naturally injail. I’m for the death penalty but they had their chance and blew it.
I am of the mind that doctors should not be executioners. For that reason I do not care for lethal injection.
Executioners, flipping electric chair switches, opening the floor of the criminal with a noose around his neck, being part of a squad shooting at the heart.
Keep ‘em separate.

Fair enuf. My post was a bit, unfeasible.
from Tn to Mass, women are shown to be
absolutely incompetent in Justice, and should be
shown the door with Islamists who keep
them separate, in wraps, and slavery by
the time they are teens.
There’s a better than average chance she suffered significant brain damage during the attempt. If that’s true her life is basically over anyhow. But the state will be on the hook for her continued healthcare going forward.

The last guy this happed to in Tennessee, Carruthers back in March, got a year reprieve from the governor. If this woman survives with her mind intact, she might get the same thing. If not, the state will have to nurse her the rest of her life.
In other words, taxpayers (us). Same for costs of incarceration if she is allowed to live. The notion that she should be given a pass for a botched execution is nonsense, like saying that a faulty lock on a jail cell means a prisoner should be allowed to walk out.
Did they conspire to use saline instead?
DEI = NO DIE
Norm McDonald would have had a ball with this one.
Phenobarbital?

How stupid stupid stupid
What she did she merits death
Period
Only cause she’s a frigging woman
I’m getting fatigue over women and excuses
Equality my ass
Did any of the execution staff have Adam’s apples and identify as women?
“No - not particularly.”
“Well, so many of your jokes are about dogs.”
“That's because lots of people have dogs and they'll laugh.”
“No man, you have to write jokes about something YOU like, and what makes YOU laugh.”
Norm: “Yeah, so that's why I do a lot of jokes about death now.”
Things women can’t do: Driving, math, baiting a hook, and today’s addition, executions.
