France will send troops and defense systems to Saudi Arabia to help protect the Red Sea port city of Yanbu, which is key for energy transport, French President Emmanuel Macron has said in a TV interview. He also denied a report by Spanish newspaper El Mundo that the US Central Intelligence Agency had warned European governments of possible Russian drone attacks from the Mediterranean.

The Saudi’s should be protecting themselves at this point in history. Everyone knows they have the money to train and maintain if they wanted to do it.
The French have a centuries long history of courage under fire, both before and after WW2.
They even fought in WW2. They were defeated in 1940. There is no shame in that.
Historically speaking France is a well-known anti-Russian nation.

People are angry at the French for being able to do what so many others wish they could have done during WW2. Lots of people caught up in the war would have stayed out if they could have.
It is YOU who are being stupid. The French people and government made choices that were not very wise before WWII. The French people paid the price.
