1. The Swedish Democrats are not a "far right" party. It's a populist-right party.
2. The four parties of the left-of-center + center bloc aren't all left of center. The Center Party is a centrist and agrarian party. It, like other Nordic Center Parties, largely represents rural interests and traditional values. It wasn't so long ago that the Center Party aligned with the right of center parties and might do so again (align with the right of center parties) if the far-left parties become overly influential.
3. The Social Democrats are, as stated, a center-left party. However, the other two of left-of-center parties aren't "center-left." The Green Party is a green-left party; and, the Left Party is a socialist-left party.
4. "Liberal" has a different meaning in Sweden and in other continental countries from what it means in this country. There, liberal means classical liberal and kind of libertarian. Indeed, the Liberal Party of Sweden aligns with the right of center bloc.
Having said these things, the article is correct. The left of center + center bloc had been well in front, but - in the final week of the campaign - this election tightened and became a "margin of error" election.
We'll find out how the election turns out in just a few hours.
Seems the author is ignoring the muslim vote.
According to this source, 2% of the population of Sweden is Muslim.

Mostly refugees from the Middle East.
There are broad indicators that this small minority is responsible for the increase in crime in the country, but it is generally considered racist to say this.
As for voting proclivities, according to this source,
Swedish Muslims vote overwhelmingly left-of-center. A perhaps surprising percentage (about 10 percent) vote for the Swedish Democrats (the populist-right party). I think these are Muslims who appreciate the individual rights found in western democracies, and appreciate the insistence of the Swedish Democrats on learning the national language and on being self-supporting. I’d bet a good number have joined the police and the military.
The left-wingers among the Swedish Muslims want the benefits of citizenship without responsibility. Too many moochers and looters, rapists and murderers among them.
