It’s been a four-year battle to allow students without legal status to work at California’s public colleges. The Legislature passed another bill to allow this. Newsom vetoed it last time. What will he do now?

Many college students need to work part-time, and if you can get an on-campus job that is more convenient than working off-campus (saves transportation time at least). There are probably more students interested in such jobs than there are jobs available. So letting illegal aliens take some of them deprives US citizens of jobs.
