Fourteen years ago, on August 15, 2012, the first DACA applications were accepted.
The Trump administration is dismantling DACA through a thousand cuts while moving to strip status from millions more -- a mass delegalization agenda that treats working people as disposable.
About 500,000 people currently have DACA. 80,000 live in Texas where a federal court ruling could stop DACA recipients from working in the state at all.
We're in the most dangerous moment in DACA's history.
The DACA Renewal Fund was created to pay for the $555 renewal cost. No one loses status because they couldn't afford the fee. *****from email... 14 years is a long time to live in 2-year increments.
Since August 15, 2012, that's what DACA has meant: work, school, a renewal date. For thousands of people, that date is right now.
The DACA Renewal Fund fully covers the $555 application cost for DACA recipients. We want to help every single person who comes to us asking for support -- but our waitlist is long, and the fund is nearly tapped out. Chip in what you can to the DACA Renewal Fund and the National Campaign for Justice to help power this critical program.
The average DACA recipient is now 31 with children, careers, home and businesses of our own. And yet our protections have never been more precarious.
This is what mass delegalization looks like in practice. Not one announcement, but a slow squeeze until people are pushed out of status, out of work, and out of their home.
Fourteen years after the first DACA applications were filed, the program faces its greatest threat yet. The most powerful thing we can do in the face of these attacks is to renew our DACA protections. That requires a $555 fee

Any DACA, any "temporary" who has not changed status to LEGAL or CITIZEN is by definition not wanted in the US. No need for expensive DETENTION CENTERS. No need for court proceedings. If your TEMPORARY status has ended you are now illegal. You do not have the PRIVILEGE to be in the US. Your PRIVILEGE is removed. Your RIGHTS are not touched.
I strongly support those who came here temporary and legally changed their status to LEGAL or NATURALIZED.... provider they 1) do not give aid & comfort to terrorists, enemies of the US. 2) Do not murder, rape...DUI, Drunk n Disorderly. 3) Do not apply for welfare or benefitrs.
There is that “Justice” word again.

The DACA Renewal Fund
The DACA Renewal Fund is a United We Dream (UWD)–led initiative that provides financial support to help DACA recipients cover the $495 renewal fee and related costs for their Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) applications United We Dream.
Background and Purpose
In September 2017, the Trump administration announced it would end DACA, threatening to disrupt the lives of over 800,000 immigrant youth who relied on the program for work authorization, Social Security numbers, and protection from deportation United We Dream. A January 2018 preliminary injunction temporarily blocked the program’s termination, but many recipients still faced significant financial barriers to renewals.
UWD launched the Renewal Fund to address this crisis, partnering with 25 organizations in 16 states to deploy more than $800,000 in scholarships and fee assistance for over 1,700 immigrant youth United We Dream. The fund is designed to remove the prohibitive cost of renewal applications, which require a $495 USCIS fee, and to support those who might otherwise be unable to afford it.
How It Works
Eligibility: DACA recipients who need help paying renewal fees or related costs.
Support: Grants and scholarships to cover USCIS fees and other expenses tied to the renewal process.
Access: Contributions and information are available at www.dacarenewalfund.com United We Dream.
Partnership: UWD coordinates with local affiliates and legal service providers to ensure applicants can also access legal guidance and, in some cases, additional financial aid United We Dream.
Why It Matters
For many DACA recipients—especially students or low-wage workers—saving $495 can take months. The Renewal Fund reduces this barrier, helping maintain access to education, lawful employment, and protection from deportation United We Dream. UWD’s reach (4.5 million people monthly via social media) and its network of 49 affiliates in 27 states make it a trusted and widely accessible resource United We Dream.
Additional Support
If you need help with your renewal, UWD also maintains a directory of local organizations offering legal services and fee assistance by state United We Dream. For example, in Iowa, you can check with local immigrant rights groups or the Immigration Advocates Network Legal Services Directory.
In short: The DACA Renewal Fund is both a financial aid program and a community mobilization effort to protect DACA recipients’ rights and opportunities during periods of legal and policy uncertainty United We Dream+1.
Obama... The temporary Kenyan president who promised to destroy the nation and his gifts that keep on giving.
I miss my country.
DACA!
Another acronym for playing Russian roulette with 3 rounds chambered...
Deport them and their offspring...
$555 is $5.34 a week over two years. Less than an hour at minimum wage. If they can’t budget that or afford that they are a drain on the legal citizens.
They are notmcitizens. They have no right to taxpayer money to keep them here. They shouodn’t have rights to any money to support them here especially illegals.
DACA: Deport All Childhood Arrivals
$555 every 2 years is not much. If they can’t afford it, they shouldn’t be here.
YES. THEY SHOULD
If you can't even pay the fees to become a likely welfare parasite in the USA, you are not wanted here.
No one should lose their ‘status’? Who says?
Let's implement the Federal Tax Stamp fee waiver starting today.
“There is that “Justice” word again.”
Interpretation: Just Us.
Deport Obozo.
But they can afford cell phones and video games and marijuana and Modelo and tattoos and piercings and scratchers and Raiders gear and subwoofers in the trunk of their car and.......
So, living in the US isn’t worth paying $277.5 per year. If these DACA recipients have jobs surely they can pay $277.5 Why do they need an organization to pay the fee for them?
They are not wanted here anyway.
Betcha every one of them has an iPhone.
So all these amazing builders of America can’t afford an extra $550. I have been told they are the hardest working most wealthy people in American history. Have we been lied to?
Deport their broke arses.
