A leaked intelligence document from Pakistan central intelligence indicates that expanding United States troop concentrations near the Persian Gulf provide capabilities for a sudden limited invasion of southern Iran.
A leaked intelligence document originating from Pakistan central intelligence agency and shared with Arab media indicates that the concentration of United States military forces in the Middle East provides President Donald Trump with operational capabilities to execute a sudden invasion of southern Iran.
The intelligence assessment, compiled from direct military observations and electronic surveillance, indicates that American naval, air, and ground deployments near Iranian territory expand daily. This force build up provides strategic flexibility for potential ground operations aimed at securing the Strait of Hormuz and guaranteeing regional maritime transit.
Senior officials in Islamabad stated that the intelligence assessment was transmitted directly to Iranian leadership, serving as a primary catalyst pushing Tehran back to the negotiation table. Diplomatic representatives from Pakistan and Qatar continue intensive mediation efforts to prevent an expansion of regional war.
In response to the intelligence assessments, Iranian authorities issued warnings regarding prospective amphibious landings and distributed propaganda footage demonstrating the arming and coastal deployment of civilian militias along the Persian Gulf shoreline.
According to statements provided by diplomatic sources to Reuters, the strategic force concentration enables immediate military responses if diplomatic avenues fail to secure international shipping lanes and prevent further escalation across the region.

I would presume this is a feint, but you never know.
“A leaked intelligence document originating from Pakistan central intelligence agency and shared with Arab media”
ROTFLOL!
thanks for sharing: everyone knows that there’s no source more reliable than a leaked intelligence document originating from Pakistan central intelligence agency and shared with Arab media ... well, except maybe for the Babylon Bee ...
I tend to agree. The important line from the article:
“Senior officials in Islamabad stated that the intelligence assessment was transmitted directly to Iranian leadership, serving as a primary catalyst pushing Tehran back to the negotiation table.”
You’d think they’d welcome it. Isn’t an invasion what the Mullahs have been asking for?
Why not keep it? DJT wants to be the guarantor of the Strait, so plant the 173rd from Italy there since Meloni wants to play games.
just take that much and Kharg Island to the north, and keep it.
An interesting proposal.
Not sure why we’d trust any muslim country with information like that, whether Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, etc. Hell, not even Israel. Just sayin’
One might recall Gen. Douglas MacArthur’s warning about getting involved in a land war in Asia.
“Not sure why we’d trust any muslim country with information like that”
Did we give Pakistan anything? The article says Pakistan developed it:
“The intelligence assessment, compiled from direct military observations and electronic surveillance, indicates that American naval, air, and ground deployments near Iranian territory expand daily.”
Part two: And to allow the Iranians to reinforce key points in southern Iran and prepare defense in depth to stop any invasion. Our benevolent friends in Pakistan are so good at looking out for our American insterests.........
I don’t see China rushing to send millions of men over the border to Iran like in Korea. For one, it’s not a neighbor.
That said, I opine that this is a feint.
Or we played them, and as they sent troops there, we target the remaining bridges, get them stuck, and go elsewhere.
The Art of the Deal
I’m always surprised when I see “Pakistani” and “intelligence” in the same sentence.
Maybe we let them have certain information, which they developed further on their own, specifically to intimidate Iran and bring them back to the negotiating table? Geez, it said right in the article that this is exactly what the report did. Give our intelligence people at least a little credit for…intelligence.
Gee, them Pakis are real rocket surgeons. We’ve got two boatloads of Marines there, two or three carrier battle groups, and a bunch of Army guys sitting around. Because sitting around is what they’re trained for.
Likely being held as a possible action for after the midterms if the straits are still a problem.
