Anthony S. Fauci, the former government official who helped lead the nation’s coronavirus response, is set to again face Sen. Rand Paul (R-Kentucky), who has spent years accusing Fauci of playing a role in the virus’s creation.
Paul, the chairman of the Senate’s government oversight committee, announced Thursday morning that Fauci will testify on Wednesday after being subpoenaed. Paul has been investigating the potential origins of the outbreak.
Fauci, who last testified in front of Congress in June 2024, has repeatedly denied accusations from Paul and other Republicans as “preposterous.” The 85-year-old former National Institutes of Health (NIH) official left government at the end of 2022.
President Joe Biden preemptively pardoned Fauci and other top officials before Biden left office, saying that they had not committed wrongdoing but that he feared they would be targeted by the incoming Trump administration.

Fauci needs a tribunal, not a senate hearing. The senate should concentrate on things that are also important like securing the elections in this country. Paul is right about Fauci, but this is a dog and pony show while the backlog of mostly conservative judges and appointments remains. The senate is less than useful, and is bucking the will of the people and protecting the globalists.

Did Rand vote to take the shots or did he decide with the Majority of the entire CONGRESS to OMIT THEMSELVES AND STAFFS AND OTHER FEDERAL AGENCIES FROM THE CRAP SLOW DEATH (for some) COVID SHOTS...Nothing but bread and circus bull S__t waste of time and money for absolutely no reason as the outcome is already pre-determined. Why bother posting this Grounded Day article? Everybody knows, nobody seems to care, and nothing will be done. I suspect Rand is part of the controlled faux opposition.
Rand Paul is doing a good job of harassing Fauci. He just released over 1100 pages of Fauci’s diary from late 2019 until he retired.
