Texas Senate candidate James Talarico (D) received a harsh reception from an attendee at his town hall in Houston on Sunday.
Video from the event, during which Talarico took questions for more than 90 minutes, captured by the Austin American-Statesman’s Faith Bugenhagen, shows a Black woman yelling, “So you stay here, you answer our questions or you suffer the consequences.”
Other attendees clapped in support of the woman’s remarks, while one man said, “Say it with your chest.”
When Talarico told the woman he appreciated her for traveling to attend the town hall, she replied, “I did it for my people, not for you.”

What a dilemma. Talapedo has to keep the perpetual victim class happy while remaining a guilty white man.

“Say it with your chest.”
What?
Is that talking out the side of your neck?

When we read these stories, let’s always keep in mind that Talarico has raised $40 million so far and will benefit from probably another $100 million of Dem fundraising. He is the great hope for the Dems to pick off a Red senate seat to flip the Senate. I still think the odds are against him but with enough money and media training, he might do it. So we need to be careful and not too hubristic.

Our guys lucky he’s running in Texas. He doesn’t seem to be doing much. He will win, but it certainly won’t be through effort. don’t get me wrong, I’m glad he’s gonna win. I just wish you would do something to campaign.

I think it means to speak confidently and without fear, or something like that.

I think the best campaigning that Paxton can do is just to let Talarico keep talking. The guy is a wellspring of gaffes.

I’m not so sure this was staged. Remember, a pasty white man defeated Jasmine Crockett, the sheboons’ great hope for high office. They take that personally.

A beta male, faggot atheist like him could win easily here in Massachusetts...and elsewhere. In Texas? Not so much!

Good call, imho. Same goes for the puff piece coverage.

I can see the blue Texas counties on a map after the election:
- Travis
- Harris (Houston)
- Dallas
- El Paso
- a smattering of sparsely populated border counties.
All in a sea of red.

“... let Talarico keep talking.”
I know that money talks in politics, but how much money does it take to counter, “Texas has the best drag queens”, “God is non binary”, “I love trans children”, “There are six biological sexes”, “Jesus is a radical feminist”?

Yes, good thing this is Texas, although I always keep in mind Ted Cruz's election against a similar idiot, Beto O'Rourke. Cruz should have buried O'Rourke, instead Cruz won the election by only 2.6 points: Cruz: 50.9% O'Rourke: 48.3%.
I wouldn't let my guard down in this election, people are reporting that pro Talarico ads are all over You Tube, mainstream TV and TikTok, with none for the Republicans.

I’ve been seeing more and more Paxton ads. It’s probably better for him to not peak too early in the campaign cycle while letting 6-gender James bury himself in more crap that he’s said over past years.
