The Keys are very important storm wise and other wise yet most of the buoys are down or dont exist,not good.

I'm pretty sure there were buoys not replaced after Katrina. We need 1000 super modern ones connected to space. It wouldn't be that expensive comparatively. I also think it is the state of Florida's responsibility to have their own buoys if the feds don't provide.

We need something! Possibly, a private enterprise could take over from the govt. These are key locations that need to be covered.
