The European Parliament has approved an urgent procedure to fast-track legislation that would revive the EU's expired “Chat Control 1.0” rules.
This development sets up a decisive vote on July 9 over whether online platforms may once again be allowed to voluntarily scan private user communications for child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
MEPs voted 331 in favor and 304 against using the urgency procedure, allowing Parliament to bypass the usual committee stage. The procedural vote does not itself reinstate the law but accelerates consideration of a proposal that would effectively restore the temporary legal framework that expired in April.

It is becoming clearer the EU is now the biggest threat. They are also on track to going to a cashless digital money system, by end of 2026, early 2027.
The EU has now evolved into the EUSSR.....strange but true. They will collapse.
The money thing is kind of funny because every time I visit they always want to use cash.
The motive here is something much different than catching pedos. In fact, why would political organizations that are of, by and for pedos have any interest in capturing them?
The Europeans really don’t get the hang of this freedom thing, do they?
The old USSR put strict controls on typewriters. Can’t have anyone typing anything subversive!

They are just using children as an excuse to revive the Stasi
tactics.
They learned nothing from the wars. Instead, I guess you could say, they are reviving evil behaviors from past enemies.
The grooming gangs in UK don’t seem to get any rise out of any of them.
