The Arizona Supreme Court has weighed in on the conflict between the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors and County Recorder Justin Heap.
The Supreme Court ended the stay previously put in place by the Arizona Court of Appeals. Heap’s election plan can now be put back into place, the high court ruled.
The lower court previously ruled that it was too close to an election to make changes.
The board of supervisors said it was disappointed in the ruling.
“The Board is disappointed with today’s decision by the Arizona Supreme Court because it reverses the stay order in Heap v. Galvin, et al. and directs last-minute changes in election administration during the course of an ongoing election. In fact, the Board’s Chair and Vice-Chair and the Recorder had actually reached consensus Monday evening following two days of mediation that was ordered by the Supreme Court. Our primary concern has always been, and remains, Maricopa County’s 2.6 million voters. The Board will follow the law and abide by the court’s decision, and we look forward to Recorder Heap’s plans in terms of how he intends to exercise his newfound authority to administer lawful, high-quality elections this year and beyond.”

Arizona's highest court just kicked the corrupt Board of Supervisors (and their corrupt assertion of control over the state's elections) in the teeth. This 100% puts their election-fraud machine in jeopardy, since Recorder Justin Heap isn't one of theirs but will now take point on administering elections as per the rule of law.
Imagine that.
"The decision lifts an appellate stay, confirms mandatory funding for the Recorder's office, restores control over IT systems and staff, and approves Heap's election administration plan, including early voting sites and ballot drop boxes."

Will we finally see the end of the McStain dysentery err dynasty?
Any election should not include early voting or drop boxes.
Pretty sure 2020 proved drop boxes are an easy recipe for fraud.
Why are the county board of supervisors, who are elected, involved with any election process in the first place? As if we don’t already know…
I’ll believe Maricopa County is holding honest elections when there are no election night shenanigans and no reception of mailed-in ballots for days after election day and no counting of ballots from vote drops late at night.
So the courts are basically saying that it’s too close to Election Day to have a legal and fair election. Got it.

Lower court said that. Arizona Supreme Court said “Nope. Election security measures put in place by the elected Recorder can stay”.

so, what role will Runbeck Election Services, a Phoenix company that prints election ballots and handles early ballots for Maricopa County play under Heap’s new improved elections
will mail in ballots still go to runbeck to be “cured?”
I’m glad you summarized all this for us. Thank you!
We've had our eye on them for years. So did MAGA House rep Debbie Lasko, who quit and left DC to run for this board.
She is vice-chair. I worry a little less now...this decision may reflect her influence.
They are involved in much more than elections.
They were the ones who setup a hotel for Somali and illegals to stay for free, right in the middle of Scottsdale, AZ.
No one approved it, they just did it.
And I’m pretty sure they are still there.
