Federal authorities arrested 10 people, including the manager of a South Los Angeles motel, in the latest crackdown on an alleged human trafficking operation along the Figueroa Corridor, officials announced Wednesday.
The arrests are part of the second phase of Operation Broken Blade, a joint federal and local law enforcement effort targeting sex trafficking and prostitution in the South Los Angeles corridor, an area authorities say has long been exploited by traffickers.
