Venezuela quake rescue: Maduro needs a bunkmate

As ordinary Venezuelans dig their neighbors out of their monster two-earthquake rubble with their hands, the Venezuelan government is doing all it can to sit on its hands, loot the victims, obstruct the rescue teams, harass the aid givers, block the reporters, and hide the body count.

It's a foul picture, but one incident stands out:

The angry red-hatted man poking the American rescuer and inexplicably stopping him from rescuing trapped people crying out in the rubble, was no ordinary commissar or bureaucrat, taking orders from someone above him. He was Diodado himself, the second-most powerful person in the rump Chavista government which put itself into place after the U.S. extrication of Nicolás Maduro and his wife to a prison awaiting trial on drug-traffcking and money-laundering charges in New York.

I hope this isn't true and Trump is right, but after the reports from Trump about us completely obliterating the Iranian military I'm not inclined to view him as the most reliable source of information.

The % of idiots on this sight is at an all time high. I will never suspend my contributing to FR as long as it’s alive, but we’ve had to endure a growing number of Trump haters.

For example, the bunch that is upset that Trump “let” Iran rebuild for 60 days. Well, these asshats don’t realize, that we rearmed also, and we watched where they rebuilt, and guess what, we simply knocked their new installations down again, like swatting a fly.

Trump, doesn’t want to kill people unless he has, they kill us, and oddly enough during this period there have been no US deaths.
