The man accused of killing a Montreal police officer in the city's heavily Jewish Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood before being shot dead by police left behind a 104-page manifesto filled with explicit antisemitism, anti-Zionist rhetoric, communist ideology, and grievances commonly associated with the online "incel" movement.
Police say that they have not yet determined a motive for the attack.
The shooting erupted Monday after police responded to reports of an armed man near the Hilton Garden Inn in Côte-des-Neiges. Constable Mohamed Lamine Benredouane was killed, and another officer was seriously injured. He was the first Montreal police officer killed in the line of duty in 24 years.
A civilian, Michael Mizrahi, also died during the incident, though reports indicate he may have been shot by a police officer. Rabbi Mendel Raskin said Mizrahi had originally come from Lebanon before moving to Israel and later settling in Montreal.
The manifesto repeatedly attacks Jews and Zionists, claiming there are "many Jews" within the Western ruling class and stating that the author sometimes refers to it as the "Judaeo-bourgeois class."

A police officer and a civilian were killed in a shooting in Montreal’s Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood on Monday morning.
Montreal police confirmed the officer killed was Mohamed Lamine Benredouane, 34. He had been a member of the force since 2021.
CBC News has confirmed the civilian killed was named Michael Mizrahi.
Another injured officer is in stable condition and a civilian sustained minor injuries.
Police were called after a witness saw a 'gun sticking out of a window,' said police Chief Fady Dagher. One suspect was involved in the shooting and was killed.
The suspected shooter reportedly distributed a violent incel manifesto targeting women.
At least 29 gunshots heard in video circulating online, verified by CBC News.

They kind of glossed over the fact that the female cop on the scene was hiding behind a wall, panicked, and shot the civilian (Mizrahi) as he was seeking cover from the shooter as well. After shooting the civilian, she ran away. It was awful. Looked like the female secret service agent in PA who was hiding instead of defending. Sorry folks, women should not be police officers in the field.
Well, after slogging through most of the Manifesto i wouldn’t characterize it as far-left or anti-Zionist.Zionists are hardly mentioned. He just wants everbody killed he blames for not being able to get laid, left, right or whatever. To quote his last sentence KILL THEM ALL.
He thinks that women are biologically geared to only “copulate” with “favored males” Before the arrival of “high capitalism” gave women employment and financial independence they still had to make do with “common males” like him, simply because there weren’t enough “favored males” to take care of all the women. Now that “common males” aren’t needed anymore guys like him are left in the dust. The only way to change that is eliminating the “bourgeoisie” promoting female employment, so attractive women (because of course lowering his standards to get a girl is not an option) have to resort to losers like him.

Pretty much my take as well after skimming through it.
I really gotta up my manifesto writing. I am nowhere near this succinct nor is my diction as good.

A review of the video makes it clear that that is exactly what happened. She shot an innocent man, failed to engage the shooter from a position of cover, and ran away in terror when he flanked her position. She failed, utterly and abjectly.
But DEI hiring is “the right thing to do”, apparently.
