Starmer 'always a welcome guest in Ukraine' Zelensky says, after British PM announces resignation

Keir Starmer announced on June 22 that he would resign as the U.K. prime minister and Labour Party leader, a step that follows months of mounting internal pressure.

The departure is likely to trigger a leadership contest and deepen political uncertainty in one of Ukraine's most vital allies.

Andy Burnham, Starmer's Labour Party rival, has been discussed as the likely next prime minister after securing a seat in parliament in last week's by-election.

During his resignation speech, Starmer listed "standing with Ukraine" and rebuilding relations with European allies as one of his government's main achievements.

"Every decision I've taken has been about putting the country I love first," Starmer told reporters in front of 10 Downing Street, the prime minister's London residence. "That is why I will resign as the leader of the Labour Party."

Starmer said he had spoken with King Charles III and will ask Labour to open leadership nominations on July 9, with a new leader to be in place before parliament returns from its summer recess in September.

The Steamer: “Every decision I’ve taken has been about putting the country I love first [Ukraine]”

Another victim of the Zelensky Curse...

Hey Zelensky, who wants to go to Ukraine now that you’ve ruined it?

"standing with Ukraine"

This may be the best way to demolish your political career.

He is welcome to seek employment with the Ukrainian ground forces, which are hiring.

If Starmer wants to stand a bit closer the front line in Ukraine then I’m sure he would be very welcome - they are always on the look out for fresh blood.

Zelensky is probably hoping Starmer brings a few missiles with him.

Live and learn.

I had no idea that Zelensky took part in the Putin decision to invade Ukraine back in 2022. Must be Putin's right hand man.

Ukraine is not hiring much men for the war anymore. They're running out of Russian troops to kill.

No need for that anymore. Ukraine is building most of it's own missiles and the most drones of any country in the world.

Putin can attest to that.

Age, nationality.... is no obstacle, if ya wanna die for the grifters proxy war.

Although dictator zelensky's drafting of men younger than 25 (18-24 year old) has been vastly unpopular among Ukies, it is still happening.

Amid the severe troop shortages due to heavy casualties, desertions, and draft evasion, dictator zelensky created a contract program in the  attempt to buy mobilization and more cannon fodder.

Since zelensky cannot forcibly mobilize 18-24 year old Ukrainians, he now is desperately trying to buy their service and makes disgusting and disturbing promises.

The cannon fodder contract offers applicants 1 million Ukrainian hryvnia ($24,000) for one year in the army, roughly four times the annual salary for the standard military contract.

Additionally, the young, bought cannon fodder can receive 120,000 hryvnia ($2,880) and more each month for combat missions.
Other perks include zero-interest mortgages, free travel and utility benefits, free education, and a right to travel abroad after one year of service.
Of course this idiotic move by the dictator is a huge conflict between those who have already been mobilized and the new contract soldiers.
The former “fighting for pennies” while the latter will be paid significantly more and given bonuses.

The little dictator should at least provid and serve his dead soldiers families the bare necessities, instead of  “luring” youngsters into their death.

Yeah. Money makes the drones go round. Putin wishes the money flow would stop.
