Just about everyone seems to be weighing in on the polarizing Pride Night at Oracle Park last week. San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie is the latest public figure to criticize the four Giants pitchers who protested the team’s annual celebration of the LGBTQ+ community.
Ryan Walker, Landen Roupp, JT Brubaker and Sam Hentges have sparked an outcry among San Franciscans as well as other Pride Night supporters. Walker chose to wear the standard Giants hat rather than the special hat for the event, which has a rainbow-colored team logo.
The latter three added a Bible verse on their Pride Night caps to demonstrate their religious beliefs. Lurie revealed he was “really upset and disappointed” by their decision. jalen carter“This is why we need Pride. We need to lean in and we need to keep educating people, even here in San Francisco,” Lurie said. “It was a rough night, but one that we need to learn from.”

Why don't they just come out and ban Christian players?
KEEP POLITICS OUT OF SPORTS
Fake news.
One "rough night" has their panties in a wad?
How about a "rough SIX DECADES" of nonstop homo homo homo and more homo?
Besides, since when is that leather crowd opposed to "rough nights"?
What’s fake?
Who knew the gays were so sensitive.
It seems like straight lefties are behind this the most.
No doubt danny would be fine with a Christian night right?
If Giants management wants to bend on this issue, they will trade or release those players.
I don’t really follow the sport so don’t know if these guys are key players or not.
Just saying if Giants management wants to make a political statement, they will get rid of those players.
Just saying that homosexuality is special in San Francisco and this action may have touched a deeper nerve than it might in some other city.
This crap is wrong, anywhere, anytime. It’s time for people to stand up to this filth.
The left likes to tell us how they celebrate diversity.
The players were celebrating diversity. They were reminding us that God and the Bible have something to say about rainbows. The rainbow is not strictly a symbol of homosexuality.
So based on the left’s own criteria, the players should be applauded for celebrating diversity.
Or make the first all LGBTQIA+ team in major league baseball. That would be a statement.
Daniel Lurie needs to understand that baseball was never supposed to be about celebrating people’s sexual preferences, deviant or otherwise.
But I don’t think people like him are capable of seeing things in a clean, clear and logical sense.
Kudos to the players who stood up to that nonsense.
Apparently, there has only been ONE Muslim player in the history of MLB, in the 80's.
The San Francisco Giants GM up until 2024 was Canadian Muslim. Now he works for the Dodgers.
I thought EVERYTHING is supposed to be about celebrating people's preferences. They run everything, including the White House.
Here is Lurie’s bio.

I leave it as an exercise for you to figure out what the issue is...
(Hint: It is called by one author banned everywhere “The Jewish Revolutionary Spirit”.)
Washington AntiNationals... Fire the front office...
That, and the forced participation aspect of it.
KEEP SEXUAL DEVIANCY OUT OF SPORTS AND LEAVE IT IN SLEAZY PORN FILMS WHERE IT BELONGS.
