As part of an escalating strategy of violence against native Palestinians in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, Jewish terrorists from illegal Israeli settlements have again attacked the ancient Christian town of Taybeh, setting its agricultural fields ablaze and seeking to burn down homes, with reports of open fire upon these civilians as well.
This last fully Christian town in the West Bank has been the target of ongoing terror attacks due to the establishment of a new Israeli colony “settlement” nearby from where these attacks are launched.
Palestinian Christian and human rights activist Ihab Hassan has reported the Israeli terrorists are “setting fields on fire, hurling Molotov cocktails at homes, and attempting to set the village gas station ablaze.”
Citing sources within the town itself, Hassan posted that the residents are “terrified” as “fires are surrounding the village, and settlers opened fire on homes and civilians.”
He also reported that the Israeli army, which has a duty under international law to protect these civilians, “has now raided the village and is firing stun grenades.”
Taybeh, which is identified in the Gospel of John (11:54) as “Ephraim,” the place where Jesus Christ withdrew before His Passion, has endured repeated Israeli settler terrorist attacks over the past year.
In July 2025, masked settlers on horseback grazed livestock on private lands, set fires near the 5th-century Church of St. George and cemetery, destroyed farmland, and terrorized residents.
Local priests from Greek Orthodox, Latin, and Melkite churches described an ongoing “siege” aimed at economic strangulation and displacement. Holy Land bishops (Patriarchs and Heads of Churches in Jerusalem) condemned the “climate of impunity,” charged Israeli authorities with facilitating repeated Israeli settler terrorist attacks upon Christians and other Palestinians, and demanded international action and accountability from Israeli authorities.
Following advocacy by Jason Jones, U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee visited Taybeh on July 19, 2025, denouncing the attacks as “terror” and demanding prosecution of perpetrators, yet attacks persisted unimpeded by Israeli authorities.
Israeli officials corroborate, condemn ‘Jewish terror’ in West Bank
These ongoing assaults, which have been sharply escalating since Israel’s retaliatory genocidal war against the Gaza Strip began in October 2023, have elicited high-level condemnations from some Israeli authorities.
In July 2024, former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert confirmed the assertion by the bishops above that the present Israeli government was indeed supporting Jewish settler terrorist attacks against native Palestinians, including Christians, with the goal of ethnically cleansing the region of non-Jews.
Writing in an opinion piece published in Haaretz at the time, Olmert announced:
I am warning Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: The day is drawing near when arrest warrants will be issued against you for the crimes being carried out every day in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) by Israel, with the support of its government, while you intentionally turn a blind eye to it…
Here crimes are committed on a daily basis, not by soldiers and not against soldiers, but by rioters who are Israeli citizens, Arab haters, with the clear intention of expelling them from their homes and the villages where they have lived all their lives.
Later in August 2024, the Times of Israel reported that Ronen Bar, head of Shin Bet (Israeli internal security ministries), warned that “Jewish terror carried out by violent settlers and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir’s actions on Temple Mount are doing ‘indescribable damage’ to Israel.”
More recently, in March, Israeli MK Meirav Cohen delivered a speech in the Knesset condemning the “Jewish terror” which has been escalating in the West Bank where “villages are being attacked, communities are being driven from their homes with premeditation, sheep are being slaughtered, orchards are being burned, (and) people are attacked for the mere fact of being Arab.”
Ms. Cohen further charged Israeli government officials with helping facilitate these crimes through obfuscation, encouragement or ensuring “the terrorists don’t get arrested, all of these people are responsible for this terror no less than those terrorists from the hilltops.”
Additionally, in late January, Israeli former defense minister Moshe Yaalon condemned “Jewish pogromists attacking Palestinians” in the West Bank and lamenting that “not a single Jewish terrorist has been arrested” for committing these ongoing crimes.
He warned that the “ideology of ‘Jewish supremacy’… has become dominant in the Israeli government, (and) reminds one of Nazi racial theory” which, with the violence exercised against Palestinians, is turning the nation into “Judeo-Nazis.”
In a recent presentation by Jewish American journalist Katie Halper, the podcaster develops this theme with sorrow and far more detail, concluding:
I’ve spent the last year-and-a-half interviewing Holocaust survivors who are themselves speaking out against the genocide Israel is currently perpetuating. How can we be bystanders to a genocide when genocide exterminated so many of our people? Never again doesn’t just require us not to commit genocide. It requires us not to be silent. We must speak out. We cannot be silent bystanders. Never again is now.

Israeli Settler Violence Continues Under American Neglect.
America Is Funding the Destruction of Christian Communities.
So what’s new? Jewish state has been a backhanded friend to Christians for a long time.
“These ongoing assaults, which have been sharply escalating since Israel’s retaliatory genocidal war against the Gaza Strip”
let the anti-jooo circle jerk commence...
The agenda of Israeli settlers attacking Christians in the West Bank and Jerusalem is to forcibly displace Christians communities, grab Christian land for Israeli settlement expansion, and create a Jewish-majority area using billions in US tax dollars.
This campaign, frequently termed “ethnic cleansing” by observers, seeks to isolate Christian cities and entrench control through violence and intimidation.
Key aspects of this agenda include:
Land Seizure & Annexation: Settler terrorists aim to expand into areas with significant Christian presence, such as Taybeh, to connect illegal outposts and cut off communities.
Ideological Goal: These actions are driven by settlers “hilltop youth” and supported by hard-line members of the Israeli ruling coalition with US tax dollars, seeking to control Christian territory.
The settler terrorists actions have significantly increased since October 2023, are described as a calculated, long-term strategy of dehumanization designed to empty specific areas of their indigenous Christian population financed by US tax dollars.
Forced Displacement: Through persistent harassment—such as vandalizing olive groves, attacking homes, and destroying water infrastructure—US tax dollar financed terrorist settlers aim to make daily life unbearable, driving residents to leave their land.
Systemic Harassment: Attacks include vandalism, physical violence against clergy, and the erection of US tax dollar financed billboards declaring, “There is no future for you Christians here”.
So, what’s the plan then? Throw the Joos in ovens again?
Sounds like Israel has it’s own leftist Jewtifa group……or Antifa Europe has infiltrated and has been trying to set Jews and Christians against each other.
Either way, the devil is behind it.

I don’t know if these stories or dead-on true or wildly exaggerated.
But I do know that there are ultra-orthodox Jews. And then there are all the rest of the Jews. The ultra-orthodox have radical views (if that’s the right term) that are not shared by the rest of the Jews.
It is an error to lump them all together, as this article is evidently trying to do.

I would offer that the Christians shoot back and defend their property.
Your solution is a strange response.
Stop calling those vermin, settlers.
The Arabs ARE NOT NATIVE to Israel. They are not native to the region AT ALL.
They are ARABS from the ARABIAN peninsula. Duh! They invaded and occupied Palestine a few centuries ago.
THEY ARE NOT NATIVE TO THE REGION.
Let’s get our facts right, for God’s sake.
How did you come up that "conclusion"?
> How did you come up that “conclusion”? <
I read the article. Unless I missed something, there was no mention of ultra-orthodox Jews. And I’ll bet you a dollar that they’re behind most, if not all, of those attacks.
So what we have here is at least sloppy journalism.
Not that you asked, but let me mention something else. The article talks about how the Israeli government is doing little to rein in these attacks. I’m no expert. But I’m guessing that’s at least partially true. The ultra-orthodox are a swing vote in Israel. So they are treated with kid gloves. Not a good thing.
If there are moderate Israeli Jews who oppose these ultra-orthodox, they’re not stepping in to stop them.
Let’s say it’s 100% true. Christians in Europe killed 6m Jews, including 99% of under-18s, because they felt these could not be useful as slave labor. Gonna be a long time before the scales are evened with Arabic-speaking Christians who are settlers and squatters in the traditionally Jewish land of Judea, which Arabs and Muslims call the West Bank much as Jerusalem is Al Qods, and the Second Temple is al Aqsa.
OK; unlike yours, here are the real facts:
Not all Arabs are muslim; many are Christians.
The original Christans were native to Israel. They were not invaders; they were born in Israel.
It's not sloppy journalism at all; it's false accusations by you.
What makes you think all illegal Jewish settlers are ulta-orthodox?
How did you come up with that?
