In a joint letter signed by former ministers and all of the Labour chairs of Westminster select committees, the UK Government has been told there is an “urgent need for accountability and concrete consequences in response to Israel’s violations against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, which are spiralling by the day”.
The letter to Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper was co-ordinated by Melanie Ward, the Labour MP for Cowdenbeath and Kirkcaldy and the former chief executive of Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).
It comes as Israel launches air strikes on Iran despite a so-called ceasefire, closes all entry points into the illegally occupied Gaza region of Palestine, and continues its invasion of Lebanon, including air strikes on the capital of Beirut.
The letter, sent both to Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper and Business Secretary Peter Kyle, reads: “On 19 May 2026 Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich instructed the Israeli Civil Administration to initiate proceedings for the displacement of the Palestinian Bedouin community of Khan al-Ahmar in the occupied West Bank, and the destruction of their property, which would constitute the war crime of forcible transfer.
“The community of Khan al-Ahmar has been embroiled in a gruelling struggle against erasure, displacement and state-backed settler violence as part of Israel’s E1 plan, which as you know seeks to bisect the West Bank and will make the two-state solution that we all want to see an impossibility.
“Settlement expansion and annexation in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem has escalated exponentially. Israel is reported to have approved 34 new settlements in April 2026 alone, which is half the number approved in the previous record-setting year of 2025."

Yeah no problem filling your country up with Muslims.
What are they gonna do, attack by subs?
Seems about right for a nation that arrests a stabbing victim while he’s bleeding to death

As an American, I will NEVER support USA in bailing out Great Britain ever again. I don’t give a hoot if the Islamicists take the whole place over, the British government has sold the place out so thoroughly that it is not salvageable, imho, anyway.
I can only hope and pray that the millions of good Brits who support America and Israel and other freedom-loving countries will find safe places to move to. Canada and Australia and NZ are definitely off the list, USA if the DNC get another Obama into our White House will also be a very poor choice. It is not clear where they can go/
They should move to Canada, Australia or New Zealand.
They're Socialists.
In other words, we don't need more Democrats because they'll turn this entire country into California.
Tommy Robinson can move to America. That's about it.
as far as USA is concerned, I get your point (though, there are several million good Tory Conservatives in UK who are also at risk, and they are not Stalinists or Nazis like Labour seems to be nowadays)
at any event, I get your point, thanks.
(From THEIR POV, tho, Canada, Australia, NZ are similarly being sold out by their leftist ruling elites... )
Agreed. But we can't take that risk.
They have a chance of starting over in Canada, Australia or New Zealand even though they're facing similar issues.
Licking the boots of their Muslim rulers. Pathetic.
These MP’s are like the arab goat.
The UK is propped up by money from somewhere likely places like the UAE other Muslim Gulf Arab countries.
Those countries deal with Israel under the table the UK compromised to limit its differences with Israel IMHO.
In fact, shocking as it may be the UK has 888.5 million dollars invested in the US national debt now second behind Japan with China slipping to third place (March 2026).
The US covert operation in conjunction with Israel right appears to revolve around stirring the hostility to Muslim immigration to install Nigel Farage as PM.
What happens after that civil conflict I don’t know but its pretty complex IMHO.
The US wants the UK fully subjugated to our interests as well as those of Israel I sincerely believe.
While I have some differences with part of your posting, we are in full agreement with your concluding opinion that USA (or at least significant parts of the administration) wants UK and Israel subjugated to USA (their) control.
In a way of speaking, this is pretty generally what happens in much or most of international relations ...
Right now, we USA are constricting Communist China in several very substantial ways (Straights of Mullaca/Indonesia, Straight of Hormuz, Panama Canal (they nearly took it over pre-DJT), building up the Japanese/Taiwanese/Phillipines ring around them....several more things even the blocking of their Silk Road initiative and building of a parallel routing under USA/Western control to the north and another via sea from India to Europe via Suez Canal and a new short land connection via Israel to Med ports.
There’s a great deal going on. It is easy to focus on Iran as the main protagonist because of that regime’s repeated threats to nuke USA and take over the gulf oil supply. But IMHO even Iran is, to a degree, a small actor — albeit very dangerous.. actor, imho. It really looks like the primary contest is between USA and Red China. (And yes, the return of a friendly to USA government in Teheran would be a significant loss for Communist China (oil supply, controlling trade to Europe, etc.)
I have a ride coming in a couple minutes I gotta get ready for. But if you care to, please do consider the larger game that seems to be afoot....I haven’t the time to add several more items to the list but Red China and USA are competing in space weapons and even in exploiting minerals and basing military assets on the moon (no kidding, imho). The USA Space Force as a branch of our military forces is imho not a joke, it must include space-based intelligence (of course it does, this is known) and space-based weapons (that can also eliminate Red Chinese satellites that are up there for similar purposes). USA Space Force is not just PR, I believe it is being built up to be a very significant military asset.
wrong? partly wrong? maybe. sorry , apologies but i gotta run. have a nice evening

anyway

Can’t tell the difference between the Bolsheviks in the UK and the Tuckerrhoids on this side of the pond
Thanks for your input.
I was listening to Gordon Chang (who does he work for?) throwing the manure on China a decade ago.
The need to decouple from China resist China emphasized then.
Two decades ago GWB talked of China as “competitor” but the stories from think-tanks then said 2025-2030 would be ‘crunch time’ with China overtaking USA.
DJT always tries to talk up peace and prosperity but reality not so rosy.
I do “China War” updates in my weekend posts pretty regularly.
I am not fooled US allies try to hurt China economically through stuff like fines of clothing maker Shein imposed by France recently.
