California Democratic Rep. Jimmy Gomez confessed Tuesday to cheating on his wife — after The Post in April revealed he was seen kissing a congressional aide outside a DC party.
The Post’s report unleashed an official investigation, which turned up sordid new details, CNN reported.
“Years ago, I made personal mistakes outside my marriage that have caused real pain to my wife and family,” Gomez told the news outlet. Gomez, a close Swalwell friend, initially denied The Post’s reporting and his confession did not specify particular wrongdoing.

He’s admitting to a lesser crime than all of what he did with The Perv.
He is washing it hoping no one remembers or follows up on the worse stuff.

The dirtiest Democrats always seem to be in the safest districts (safe in a general election, that is) or the safest states if it’s a Senator whose crimes or indiscretions are finally seeing the light of day.
Not because the Democrats in marginal districts or states are so clean, it’s that their scandals normally get an extra layer of “whitewash” from the media because of the vulnerability of potentially losing to a Republican.

At the next State of the Union address, Trump should ask Congress that if they have never cheated on their spouse, they should stand up. All the Democrats who remain seated should be embarassed for following party orders.
