Elon Musk has thrown his support behind Rupert Lowe’s new party after it pledged to ‘dismantle’ the establishment.
The Tesla founder – who is based in the US – has been a fierce critic of the current Labour government, using his platform on X to attack its political record.
In his latest intervention in British politics, Musk showed approval for the right-wing party Restore Britain.

Farage talks a good game, but he doesn’t have the courage to do what it takes to save Britain. The open question is does Britain have what it takes to save Britain. If they do, Restore Britain should start to catch fire.
Labour won an overwhelming victory in the UK’s last general election with only 34% of the popular vote.
And that’s because the other parties split the vote six ways to Sunday.
(As I understand it, a candidate wins a UK parliamentary seat by a plurality of the district’s vote, not by a majority of the vote.)
So now there’s the Restore Party added to the mix. More splitting?
Unfortunately l do not think there enough British patriots to put restore into power. Between the replacement voters and leftist indoctrination the votes just aren’t there. Farage has a chance but he is Pence not Trump.
“SPLITTERS!”
Lowe is one who equates shechita with halal slaughter, hence putting Mahometans and Jews on the same plane; he has openly stated his intention to ban both. That marks him as a EUSSR mole.
Farage leads Reform UK, not Restore Britain.
Pretty confusing, eh?
Muck sort of confuses me. I just can’t get an accurate feel for which side of the fence he’s on. On the one hand, he’s done a tremendous amount of good for the nation in all sorts of ways. He’s endured intense threats and hostility, and hasn’t folded. And I think backing Restore Britain is a very worthy cause (among many that he’s thrown his weight behind).
But on the other hand, in some ways he isn’t very consistent. He’ll warn against the potential dangers of the AI / robotics movement, then in the next breath tout its “inevitability” and how Utopian it will be when no one works any more. Yes, Neuralink brain chips might work some amazing medical miracles, but what if a sufficiently dystopian administration took office and decided that everyone needed one, whether that person wanted it or not?

Well crap, my fat fingers have struck again. “Musk”, NOT “Muck”.
Apparently I need to increase my coffee consumption. Heh.
No, I know that. My point is that while people are hoping Farage might turn things around, I doubt he has what it takes. Hence the need for Restore Britain rather than Farage’s party. Though, to be fair, Farage may be a necessity step on the way.
Hat tip to gibsonguy, Farage is Pence, and they need a Trump and a Homan.

Got it. And I think you’re right.
I’ve been watching Rupert Lowe since he announced the party. His page at X is quite interesting. He is the one who can Restore Britain without compromise. It is growing and catching fire in local elections. The Musk endorsement comes at just the right time.
“So now there’s the Restore Party added to the mix. More splitting?”
This is why I’m against more than two or three political parties!
It doesn’t work well in England.
Why would we try it here?
no doubt an unambiguous nuance to the Brits
They’re going to split the vote to Ross Perot levels
7-10% I’ve seen and that is about their ceiling
Who benefits from this? The government. Funny isn’t it.
They shouldn’t be organizing in the district to the extent they are.
And why is Musk amplifying them
I have no idea.
He’ll warn against the potential dangers of the AI / robotics movement, then in the next breath tout its “inevitability” and how Utopian it will be when no one works any more.
Yep, it’s like building a ten-foot wall, to stop a hundred-foot tidal wave.
