U.S. Senate: Incumbent John Cornyn is seeking to fight off a GOP primary challenge from Attorney General Ken Paxton. Cornyn has spent millions on ads emphasizing the attorney general’s history of scandals, while Paxton is blasting the incumbent senator as out-of-touch with the party’s MAGA base.
Attorney General: The race to replace Paxton as Texas’ top lawyer is also hotly contested. State Sen. Mayes Middleton of Galveston took first place in March and is backed by Gov. Greg Abbott and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick. U.S. Rep. Chip Roy of Austin, meanwhile, is backed by U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz and many fellow House Republicans.

For attorney general, Mayes Middleton appears to clearly be the best choice. By going to Texas Scorecard and using the search function for each, Middleton's conservative legislative record is impressive. Roy's, not so much although he is very verbal and says the right things. Congressman Roy called for TX AG Ken Paxton to resign in 2018.

Here are some of the articles about Jim Wright in Texas Scorecard: Jim Wright Says He Can’t Oppose the Islamification of Texas, Texas Sands Casino lobby dumps $500K in to Wright's campaign, Wright Gave Thousands to Democrats, Records show. Wright would be a terrible choice for railroad commissioner.
In Frisco, vote Rod Vilhauer for Mayor.
Nobody named Jim Wright has ever been good for Texas.
Surprising that Railroad Commissioner is still an elected office.
They wield great power over oil and gas regulations.
Good post and voted early today in Texas!
Great information you posted!
Thank you so much for that, I am going through the Sample Ballot now, so that helped a lot.
The GOOBs here in TEXAS are spending a lot of time and money smashing each other on the heads with rubber chickens.
