THIS is the shocking moment a UK phone shop worker offered to take £3,000 in cash in exchange for a small boat migrant crossing.
Criminals are using a network of UK-registered businesses to receive payments for smuggling, a BBC Local documentary has found.
The Smuggling Business: Undercover, available on BBC iPlayer from tonight, has exposed a network dealing with illegal Channel crossings.
These businesses included a mobile phone shop in South-East London, alongside firms in Newcastle upon Tyne and Cambridgeshire.
Going undercover to film staff at the shop in Woolwich, the BBC found that nearly £3,000 in cash could be deposited with them and sent to a smuggler in France.
Footage captured by the outlet’s investigation team shows the undercover researcher posing as the UK-based family member of a migrant attempting to cross the Channel.
One man was caught on camera explaining from behind the counter that the money would be transferred to the smugglers only after a successful crossing.
He is heard saying: “If your people do not cross, if he tells me to return your money back to you, I’ll do it.”
The shop worker added: “You can’t count on boats, you never know, God forbid the boat sinks, and all of them [drown].”
Reporters visited the phone shop on three occasions, secretly filming conversations with two workers.

Don’t think it stops there, either. The Mehican drug cartels arrange most border crossing via their network of coyotes — these are the guys who rape and kill women and children.
Once across, payments must continue — like continuing to pay street gangs who provide “protection/insurance” if you operate a shop in any blue city.
To sustain these payments, which are for life (if you don’t want your family still in Mehico to die) is why SNAP/Medicare/etc programs are pushed by the DNC. By funding the illegals (and getting $$ from cartels and the illegals) via Fed programs (or state programs covered by Fed programs — e.g., WuhanFlu crappola) the DNC ensures they will turn in their mailin ballots so they can be filled out “properly”.
This is how Democrats enforce slavery, sex trafficking, and voting power.
Oh, oh, you think this is a “both sides” issue? Bullsthitte. Republicans never owned slaves, so they are not into bullying.
We need to start calling this what it is. Slave trading.
Thanks for posting. This is shocking. I am cynical enough to wonder if there will be any action taken.
I’m not shocked at all. Given the normalcy of corruption in third world countries, you import it....and...you get it. Europe is destroying itself for several reasons, none of which the elites, who are in control, could care less. It will get very ugly if the native sons and daughters wish to keep their culture and civilization intact. If not, the West continues to sink and what replaces it makes any good person shudder at a minimum. Read Camp of the Saints, and then either work to do something about it or slip into the open sewer these people come from. Time is short. America is next.....

Starmer has two choices:
1. Fully investigate the story, even though it will bring embarrassment to his government. Punish everyone involved to the fullest extent of the law. Take steps to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
2. Issue a weak statement of semi-outrage. Then move on, and hope that everyone forgets about the incident.
Hint: Don’t pick #1.
He wants to fill the country with the same criminal trash as himself
Starmer will give them monthly cash and free hotel no investigation
Where does a poor migrant get £3,000?
