What does this mean for additional potential GOP house seats?
Well, the redistricting was done “to make the house seat more competitive for Republicans” according to the video.
1 Seat. Possibly...In KC. Cleaver.
Do you know the makeup currently of the MO house seats?
I do not.
They probably should consider themselves lucky it didn’t get overturned. District 5 used to be a solid urban seat, but they took the urban area and spread it all out with a lot of mid-state geography in hopes of watering it down. The problem is that it looks the most gerymandered out of all of them now. IE: the least contiguous with it’s overall area of mass, and the most stretched and turning.
