How Democrats sneaked in reparations, and how they'll protect them
Fox News ^ | 3 May 2026 | David Marcus

The battle over reparations for racial minorities in the United States has grown somewhat quiet in recent years, but it's not because proponents of it have surrendered. It's because they have already won.

The list of ways in which our government redistributes wealth to minorities is long, as you’ll see below, but first, it's worth paying attention to something that Democratic strategist James Carville said recently.

Referring to packing the Supreme Court and making Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico states, should Democrats retake power, the cagey old Cajun said, "Don't run on it. Don't talk about it. Just do it."

I posit that this is precisely what Democrats have done in regard to reparations.

CHICAGO REPARATIONS ADVOCATES SAY FEDERAL GOV MORALLY OWES '7 QUADRILLION DOLLARS' IN SLAVE LABOR

Take for example, marijuana legalization laws in states such as New York and Minnesota that offer loans, often forgivable, and training only to Black and Brown people, or other "special equity" groups,

Similar to the gerrymandering war that's ongoing.

Perhaps any reparations should allow transportation to their country of origin as an option, so long as they give up US Citizenship.

Most Republican leaders act like it’s still 1955. Debate a little, then it’s off to the country club for drinks. Maybe even meet with a lobbyist or two.

Today’s Democrats are a far different breed. They’ve got fire in the belly and a radical agenda to fulfill.

So, yeah. Carville is giving us fair warning. And he’s not exaggerating.

This reparations BS is nothing more than the typical Democrat ploy to create pools of money to give away so they can loot and plunder it without accountability. This criminal act is common in DC and the very reason that the US is $38+ trillion in debt. It’s been stolen by the DC criminal cabal and they need to pay for their crimes.

The Democrats have seceded from the human race.
It's time for Trump to go full Pinochet.

Thousands of black people owned slaves. Some blacks owned large plantations. There were 3,000 black slave owners in just New Orleans. So we should give their g.g.g.grandchildren money?

Reparations talk will get more blacks motivated to vote D. And it widen the racial gap.

So even if no reparations money is actually given out, it still can be see as a good move - but only if you’re a radical Democrat who hates the country.

If you keep quiet about getting the funds, then you don't have to distribute them to everyone you cited as "deserving".

You can keep it for yourself or funnel it to causes or persons you like, even if they're white.

Sure, give $$$ to people, many of who have been on welfare for years. How about if the US agrees to pay reparations to blacks they first subtract all the billions that have been handed out to them for welfare for many of the last 50 years?

Stealing money from Americans because of their Caucasian color skin and giving it to Africans because of their dark skin is not only RACIST, IT’S ALSO UNCONSTITUTIONAL. If the dark skins want to steal money, let them steal it from the NBA, WNBA, MFL and MLB owners. That’s where their current massas are.

Premise rejected, but for sake of argument,

Fedgov wouldnt because fedgov never made any laws creating slavery. The 3/5 mention deals with establishing states population numbers for representation, and has nothing to do with establishing or endorsing slavery. It was a law that dealt with the reality some states still had slaves.

Slavery was a states issue because it had been set up that way. About half of the colonies repeatedly petitoned the monarchy to allow them to end slavery, and evere king denied it, saying as long as England ruled the colonies, the colonies would have slavery. When RW1 broke out, the nkrthern colonies, now states or commomwealths, abolished slavery - within their boundaries. They didn’t ban it anywhere else because they couldn’t.

At the same time slave owners did free slaves. At the same time there were thousands of black slave owners.
