Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced that his office has filed a lawsuit against ActBlue in Tarrant County, Texas, following a multi-year investigation into the fundraising platform’s compliance with election laws.
The lawsuit, filed in Fort Worth, alleges that ActBlue misled both Congress and the public while failing to follow federal and state requirements designed to prevent improper or illegal political donations.
During an exchange with commentator Benny Johnson, Paxton confirmed the legal action and outlined the basis for the case.
“ I assume you've heard of ActBlue. We just filed a lawsuit this morning in Tarrant County, which is in Fort Worth, against ActBlue. We've been investigating them for for several years. We actually turned over some information to the FEC, the Federal Election Commission in 2024 obviously, that was during the Biden administration. Nothing occurred. But since that time, they've been in front of Congress. Their lawyers have admitted that they that they misled the public, that they misled Congress and that they actually didn't have safeguards in place to prevent people from giving donations and other people's names from taking foreign donations. There's a lot of issues with compliance that they have not followed, and yet they told Congress that they had, and they've represented to us that they have. And so we file a lawsuit. We believe that they have misrepresented to us and to the people of this state, that they're actually raising money illegally, and it is have it has a dramatic impact on elections, that when foreigners can donate money and they can take money from people that they're not disclosing, they're completely violating our laws, and they are impacting our elections.”

My uber liberal mother, bless her heart, gave money to actblue. Now, she gets dozens of texts a day nagging her about donations. She wouldn’t let me look at her bank records but I’m sure she is one who would welcome they use her name to launder Ill gotten foreign donations

The Open Society(Soros) is paying for numerous demoncrats to go to Europe and trash Trump.
This is why Ken Paxton needs to be elected the next U.S. Senator from Texas.
John Cornyn would never initiate such an investigation and lawsuit against ActBlue.
