Joe Rogan, the most listened-to podcaster in the United States, joined President Donald Trump at the White House on Saturday as he signed an executive order loosening restrictions on psychedelics, even after Rogan has become a prominent critic of the Iran war and the Trump administration's handling of the Epstein files.
The podcast host said at the White House that he had previously texted Trump about ibogaine, an illegal psychedelic drug that advocates say can help treat opioid addiction and post-traumatic stress disorder, though critics say it can cause heart problems.
Rogan said Trump quickly texted back, “Sounds great. Do you want FDA approval? Let’s do it.”
Trump appeared to allude to Rogan’s increasing criticism of his administration, saying, “We all respect Joe. He’s a little bit more liberal than I am,” to laughter in the room.

Somebody said they took an LSD trip and woke up to find all the Dems turning into woke Commies, defending illegal alien rapists and murderers, fighting against ICE, defending soft on crime judges, thinking Gavin Newsom and Tim Walz are just wonderful, paying for school children to have genitals removed surgically and voting Dem again and again all over the country.
They were told the LSD given them was a harmless and inert placebo and the visions were all true. 💊

Rogan’s appearance is the focus of this one.
So, you can oppose the president on some issues and support him on others? Who knew?
I ilke how they have to insert that Rogan is a critic of Trump policy vis a vis Iran. So what? A lot of people may not agree—or not...Doesnt mean they are not in favor of the President overall.
BTW, while psychedelics were fun as a kid, I do hope under professional guidance some people are helped with controlled low dosages. The Freedom to Try is just the mechanism for such studies. If it works for some people, excellent. If it doesn’t work—that is what the studies are for—to find out.
This is what freedom is all about. But I will be in favor of controls so that Somali Psychedelic Centers aren’t popping up all over the place.
Rogan’s interviews with Graham Hancock are unwatchable. All they do is talk about tripping on drugs, like two high school dopes.

Apparently, Ibogaine is effective against PTSD and alcohol and opioid addiction, but can it help with TDS?

we’ve experienced, seen some very promising young lives
destroyed (mental asylum) or terminated (death) from
psycheldelics
some of the street beggars are there because of health damage
from psycheldelics (and yes, other dangerous substances too!)

Did you ever see the old army training films from the 60s where they were giving soldiers LSD? They thought that psychodelics would make the Army into super soldiers. It didn’t work out and the films were about as funny as the Cheech and Chong movies.

Microdoses of this - even 1-2 treatments - seem to help addiction and resolve trauma like ptsd.
It is available at clinics just across the southern border.
I’m glad it may become an option here.
Okay, well as long as it stays microdosed and ideally under supervision -I pray for its success.
