At least Texas has a program for medical mjay. My bud has a rare blood cancer that manifests in many ugly ways and the compassionate cannabis program he’s in seems to help ease his pain and improve his quality of limited life.
During the 60s and early 70s Texas could send you to prison for life, for a single seed.
As a teen I kept a pint of whisky and a country western 8 track on the seat beside me in case I was pulled over while stoned, I would take a swig of whisky to account for any odd behavior and replace the 60s tape with a CW tape.
drug houses are suffering, I just can’t stop crying
Great boon to the black market in drugs.
Make it harder for legal sales, more people resort to street dealers or other illegal sources.
U.S. cannabis shoppers face a market flush with illegal weed February 7, 2025
On the one hand, weed is now as normal to many consumers as a glass of wine or a bottle of beer. A growing number of companies offer government tested, well-regulated products. But a huge amount of the cannabis being sold in the U.S. still comes from bootleg operations. California officials acknowledge illegal sales still far outpace transactions through licensed shops and vendors.
According to McAtee, it's often difficult even for experienced agents to tell weed sourced through regulated channels from the criminal stuff.
If it's hard for experienced cops to distinguish regulated weed from black market products, it can be nearly impossible for average consumers. Advocates of marijuana legalization say it's disturbing that unregulated weed plays such a big role.

We all need to be seeking the Most High, and to be led by the Holy Ghost vs. unholy recreational smoke.
Doctors don’t have anything to replace it huh.
The world keeps turning hemp or not........
“drug houses are suffering, I just can’t stop crying”
Exactly the opposite boomer.
Banning legal CDB is helping the drug dens as people go back to the black market purchases vs walking into a store in Addison. No one is giving up smoking became some boomers in the legislature got a law passed. Dallas,Austin,ft worth Denton , and a slew of other cities cops won’t even arrest or ticket you for under 4 ounces of real Mjay so it has to be DPS and they don’t do much other than traffic stops so don’t be rolling dirty and speeding on the tollways.
Every state around Texas has some form of medical or recreational use laws. Oklahoma will issue non residents cards easy peasy it’s 50 minutes to Oklahoma from North Dallas again don’t speed and once you are in Dallas no one will care.
It’s so silly to regulate a plant anyone can grow with minimal efforts inside.
No I don’t smoke at all haven’t in 30+ years maybe more so save the reefer madness I don’t harm my lungs with smoke. I prefer $300+ dollar a bottle scotch or Pappy bourbon
Just shows that most of these pot shops are just catering to potheads.
